- What If EVERYTHING Required Ammo? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - this is modded game mode made specifically to challenge me called tower tactics, wherein all towers require ammunition to shoot! Additionally towers shoot slower the more they do and there's a tax system... more in the video.

Tax should either...
-Sell the monkey that sells for the closest amount you're being taxed for, them again for the remaining.
-Continuously sell the weakest tower until it's payed off.
-IMF debt.
IMF debt would be an elegant solution

Hm, fatigue on the monkey being forced to labor so you can make money sounds oddly familiar.
Maybe the more expensive monkeys make taxes less
Actually what Isab did to evade taxes is similar to how rich people avoid taxes, by buying having most of their wealth in forms that aren’t money then it can’t be taxed (it’s done differently in real life but it’s a similar concept)
ISAB was writing off business expenses to pay less taxes
I feel like an ammo-based system in BTD6 would likely involve making every tower and upgrade extremely cheap to place down (except for farming-based upgrades probably), BUT every single shot would take away an amount of cash unique to each upgrade, with higher upgrades generally consuming more cash. If you ran out of cash, your towers would stop shooting, forcing you to sell something to gain ammo.

5:50 spike factory was a bad choice, because it is loosing your ammunition super quickly and many shots are wasted.

I think this would be more interesting if non monkey towers couldn't get fatigued, and non-ammo towers wouldn't need ammo (for example wizard or ice).

Man was so worried about that ammo (that became trivial 40 rounds in) that he forgot that towers that burn would be terrible for fatigue
God that fatigue system absolutely screws over any tower that damages a lot of Bloons at once.

I love that you can convert your assets into hypothetical in monkeys to avoid taxes
how to balance the fatigue thing that favours slow atk spd towers: every second, check if the tower has attacked or popped a bloon in the past second. if yes, increase its fatigue by X amount.
this way, all towers that have an attack speed higher than 1 per second are balanced. only very slow or ability-dependent towers (i.e. primary expertise or a maelstrom at the back) might be able to get around this system.
to balance ammo, maybe it could scale off the tower's damage? so higher dmg towers use up more ammo per shot. but then this would favour low dmg high pierce towers... idk
I think one of the funniest things about this mod is the fact that banks would be one of the best ways to avoid taxes

They could also add extra qualities to villages, like no ammo usage when in range of MIB or no taxes on monkeys within range of a Monkey City, and or add a support side to Jungles Bounty by making towers in range auto relieve fatigue

My theory for Adoras low damage is because you used the ability when the fatigue bar was full meaning the ball of light was at a very low attack speed, or the mod broke Adora idk

After a bit of bugfix/balance/QoL updates, this mod could be really interesting going into harder challenges like bosses and such.

The tacks tax
Orca would be great for this since they do one big attack at a slower rate that rapidly attacks the Bloons with an AOE. Plus you can merge them together so that the fatigue of multiple Beast Handlers only goes up by the amount that one would cause, literally combining their attacks. Plus, high damage. Probably the main issue is that as a slow attacker they're going to be especially vulnerable to getting hungry, but with them and a couple of efficient cleanup towers by your side I think you can afford the tax.

Maybe for support like glue or alch, fatigue should build up per hit, not per damage tick (or whatever the mod author is using) and instead the amount of fatigue per trigger is a lot lower than what the default is?
God, this fatigue is just anxiety inducing.

I think Adora is just bugged in base game. I thought it was a visual bug because linux, but didn't think to check the damage. When I was using her in contested territory I noticed her ball wasn't shooting its little beam at bloons.

I feel like the implementation of fatigue is kinda wacky since you can just straight up ignore it and certain towers like the mortar just instantly gain full fatigue since it hits so many bloons. Personally I feel like the fatigue should be based on amount of attacks in general tweaked for each tower (lore wise I suppose) and instead of just paying money to undo the fatigue they should need ‘rest’ you choose to disable the tower for 1-3 rounds to reduce the fatigue. That way there is more nuance to the strategy side rather than just paying

The way the taxes work in this mod is a wealth tax. It incentivizes you to keep your wealth as low as possible by spending.
