11:24 this man is talking facts. Repeated story lines can be great and so long as they are handled correctly can even be better than they were the first time.
Yeah Digimon fusion got screwed over the dub has problems and basically killed Digimon dubs for series after except for all the Digimon adventure movies like tri and last kizuna and adventure,02: the begining which is a shame because of how stacked the dub cast is for fusion but what's even sadder is that toei just wants to forget the dub exist even to the point of when the fusion cards came to the English tcg which mostly uses dubisms its under it's Japanese title so instead of digifuse we get digi x(cross) and non of the characters cards use their dub names also here's some useful knowledge when a show premieres on disney, cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and gets sent Disney xd, boomerang, nicktoons that's basically a death sentence for that show because said shows get cancelled because of low ratings because 1: only certain people with certain cable packages can watch it 2:they get actively screwed with time slots by being to early like 5 in the morning 3:new episodes are barely advertised in a sea of reruns So getting sent there is basically a curtious way of pulling the plug 🔌
I'd honestly disagree with Billiams idea of Fusions being the thing that nearly killed the franchise. I think Fusions was moreso the straw that broke the camel's back less so the main reason. Because the series at this point had been on the downturn in terms of quality for about a decade at this point. Like seriously at this point Digimon had put out two shows that are widely considered the worst of the series by many (Frontiers and Fusions) and at that point and arguably now the most forgotten of the bunch in Savers.
Hell, on top of all that in Japan even those little movie things the were doing to coincide with the each series (Pre-Fusions) were doing so bad that they just stopped making movies for the series for the next couple of years until Digimon Tri; refer the previous segment of the video because Billiam says somrthing similar. Plus Nickelodeon's inconsistent air time definitely didn't help the series do well in the west. At this point the brand itself was struggling: after two not favorably looked upon series, the cgi abomination flim, the movies not doing well. I don't think Fusions alone was the reason for the franchises woes.

Billiam not doing Appmon review is criminal. That said, I didn't like his reviews as much anyway, so I don't care. You can watch other's reviews.
