For Sony Vegas Pro 18 users, Try holding shift then click options then internal

@ProTutorials I have a windows laptop XPS dell running with SonyVegas 18 and when I go to options and then click shift and enter it doesn't give me the Extra Preferences (with the internal tab) how can I get there on my Windows laptop or what exactly I need to click to get there .. thank you!!!

heyo! thanks for the tutorial. it definitely helped with the crashes. not sure if you're gonna see this, but if you do, do you know a way to stop freezing in general? whenever i search in the video fx window, sony vegas freezes for a bit, but doesnt crash anymore because of your fix
when i click on render as or share online and click youtube it freezes and just doesn’t show anything like it just stays at the editing screen how do i fix this

I have sony vegas pro 17 and it used to allow me to import MTS files but lately, it does not allow it and shuts down the program. have you heard of this happening. Is there a fix for this or do i have to convert my MTS file toMp4
For those of you who can't find "Internal", hold the Shift key BEFORE clicking Options and at the bottom below Preferences you'll see Internal. And if you don't see TRUE and FALSE, remember TRUE has a value of 1 and FALSE has a value of 0

I got one issue all of these videos want you to open Sony Vegas when I go to open Sony Vegas it crashes what's funny is I already used it and edited the video and it ran just fine for like the first 15 times then one day I go to open it and it won't open it just shuts down every time it runs through the opening process it gets to the end and shuts off any idea?

it did help with the slow showing video (in the editing menu) but still when going to render it froze on one part. I deleted that and replaced it with the other and it was all fine

idk if someone can help me, but i use vegas pro 18 and have some bad problems with it... when i use keyframes and then close my program and start it up again after 2 days or so then all my keyframes are moved to the left... and i just dont know how to fix it. 2:25: In vegas pro 20 it is called Hardware Decoder for So4 Compound Reader and as Value there is "1", I set it to "0" i.e. disabled, while "2" should be "AUTO".
I hope they solve the unexplained freeze problems for version 20 as well, and hope I don't have to disable the hardware acceleration on my 4060ti

I've ran Sony Vegas Pro 8.0c for years now with no big issues. I bought Movie Studio Platinum 16 thinking it was an upgrade from what I had, but it's had some glitches, such as freezing when rendering. I'm thinking of getting the latest version of Vegas Pro but Platinum 16 has made me skeptical.

idk, but i had an error sometimes with a similar name, i can't say if it's the same name, but i just rendered it with a different title and it stopped.
Setting your dynamic ram higher only helps if you store a part of it in memory by hitting shift + b, otherwise it does nothing to the preview...
i'm pressing shift but the internal tab isn't even showing for some reason.

Bro, I am having the craziest issue... Been on this program for over 12 years never experienced anything like this. This always worked, now it just won't. I have trouble shot this thing every which way. When creating clips and using the greenscreen plug in to SV will not render. It shows it's rendering, you see the time lapse moving, but what is not moving is the progression section. It may jump to 1 or 4 or 8 but then it just like stops... but again, the time lapse counter continues as if it is rendering. All other projects without greenscreen clips render perfectly. ANY help from anyone would be appreciated. This always worked before, no changes have been made to my pc, it just stopped. It refuses to render anything with a greenscreen clip in it. The clip itself will render but when you put the greenscreen plug in, no.

when I search so4, nothing comes up. I'm using Vegas 12 and 13. started crashing out of nowhere, I cannot figure out how to fix this. No matter what I do, it renders for 10-15 minutes, then crashes out. It's not a ram, memory, etc. issue. This started happening RIGHT after a windows update.
actually those updates are a big piece of shit! didn't have that particular problem but, I've heard of other issues related to those 😒

yes if its 1 it means its true
and 2 means false

All of a sudden i had the issue (mid-edit) that Vegas 16 would freeze for whatever reason. Restarting Vegas, restarting PC, updating everything (it already was), etc didnt work. Vegas froze everytime i reopened ANY file (not just for the video i was working on). I was about to throw my damn PC out the window but luckily i found this video. You are SuperMan in disguise, right......................Clark???

I use vegas platinum 9 and the max ram it will increase to is 1024. My system has 16Gig. I can not find a way to increase the 1024.
