Couldn´t agree more with the great review - the 8 is right now the best looking BMW! Ok they tried something new with the 4. We will get over it. And I might need to get over it that cars got that heavy - EV´s will not change it. We see the last hurrah of the ICE cars, and what a great one it is!
Yes, M8 GC is prettier than M5, but nobody mentions the smaller seats, less space that you have inside an M8 (Grand Coupe). I also feel the central console buttons quality a bit 'cheaper' than in the M5. On a track, of course I felt the M8 much better than the M5, but overall daily driver, I'll stick to the M5 for the moment :)

I have this exact car and color
Gained a sub from me just for mentioning this car needs a glass roof! Panoramic like it’s competition! I know it’s not popular to say with “car enthusiasts” because everyone thinks they’re Chris Harris & race on their local back roads but it’s ridiculous at this price point to not make it an option!
Man that is a beautiful car. Shame that the prices with vehicle tax start at 291000€ in Finland 🙄
I’d have really preferred if BMW didn’t pretend that this was a track toy and just made it good for roads & perhaps occasional spirited canyon driving. Does it really need a track mode and that many coolers? Added simplicity may have worked wonders for it
So which one motoman? M8 comp coupe or M8 comp grand coupe?!?

It is definetely not broken and probably the AC. @Michael Opere Wow claiming that all BMWs are built broken is just not true they belong to the most reliable cars out there and are high quality...
@@mrmorrisniceguy987 AC evap tubes travel down the firewall so it shouldn’t be the AC all the way back at the transmission
AC evap tube is on the firewall so highly unlikely that it’s the AC way back at the trans AND why would they drip cold water on a very hot trans ( would crack the case eventually)
My car horsepower number also starts with 6 but its only double digit...

Motoman, so which would you pick? M8 Gran Coupe Comp, '21 E63S, or Panamera Turbo/GTS? I'm in the market but don't have dealers near me that have these cars to test drive. Appreciate your thoughts!

Impressive car but..... in video 1:20min - what is the engine leaking??.... condensate drain... or oil.
M8 is so beautiful and capable. It's gonna be a hard choice between M8GC and GT63S. But people would definitely choose it over Panamera turbo/Turbo S.
Many people believe the ZF 8speed auto has upgraded in M power cars after 2019 like M8 to match the launch control system better than F90M5 and give people a more stable straight line performance.
So it's not just the difference of body style and interior. Many other things are also different like you mentioned.
Yeah, the Panamera is just too ugly for me. Better in the new version but still hideous. I still can't wrap my head around that the incredibly ugly 1st gen Panam was designed by a company called Porsche.
@@hazardeur You know....beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, the new Panamera is good looking to my eyes, the 1st gen though was hideous - we call it "the whale" and there are stories why it turned out like it did with the hunchback - in the back.
Between this and AMG GT63s 4-door (god bless that name), what would your choice be?
This would be my daily driver and the AMG my private ride

While the m8 is a crazy car, I think its 20k overpriced. Then it gets into the m5 comp territory.. its a hard sell over the m5 comp imo
If that’s the AC evap dripping down the transmission, wtf were they thinking dripping ice cold water on a hot trans case. Bring Money With smh.
Sunroof or panoramic sunroof is a must feature for me! So this bimmer can hold this L.
For me too, but we are a dying breed... And you should be able to slide back the sunroof, not just see the sky. Not popular anymore I am afraid and of course it would contradict the whole concept of saving weight for this track focused car.
I don’t understand the price point and no moonroof available bc really these aint going to the track there for people who love to drive need a fun drive to and from work and that’s back roads stereo cranked and moonroof open

I would rather own a 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S. Even at $200,000 large. Way nicer interior and the Porsche front facia says, Yes I am special!

Everyone keeps bitching about the weight of a car and most wont track it. Its a GT not made for a track and the more weight you take from it the chances of some dumb ass will run the light and kill you.
The M440 Gran Coupe will be just as pretty and handle much better, for less than half the price. BMW should stick to its knitting and stay out of Porsche's back yard.
Except this M8 is faster and better looking than any Panamera.
