- The BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe F93 is (at the time of filming) one of the two quickest currently available 4-door cars with internal combustion engines. BMW M8 Gran Coupe is almost as big as the standard wheelbase BMW 7 Series. The car is powered by a 4.4L V8 with two TwinScroll turbochargers. It produces 625 hp. The 0-100 km/h time for the BMW M8 Gran Coupe with Competition pack is 3.2 seconds. Just like in the BMW M5, also in the M8 you can disengage 4WD, and remain in RWD mode.

@@MarekDrivesENG I never would have guessed that. I owned a MBB X5M and it didn’t look as dark. I imagine it is due to cloudy conditions and camera resolution. I thought it might have been Tanzanite blue. Thanks for your reply.

Vadym, I always get the truffle salami. Also: rye bread (there's a couple choices), spelt bread, salmon spread, herring (they have this matjas herring which is IMO superior to all others), cheeses (I always pick sth else, depends on my preference at the moment), their homemade салат (the coleslaw is the best I've even eaten!). Enjoy your shopping!
How fast did you go on the runway?
Probably up to 200kph to brake safely. As I said the runway's pretty short.
About the flyfest exhibition . It says on the website that the number of visitors is limited to 999 gusts only and I am afraid to go there then I cannot enter . There is no option for tickets purchase on the website, it says free entrance. How can I grant my entry if the number is limited 😬😬😬

This car is gorgeous. The colour is beautiful as well. But the answer to everything BMW is M2. My buddy asked me which BMW he should trade his X5 in for and I said M2. Then he asked about the 440i xdrive and I said it was just an M2 that's too big. haha M2 people!! Now what would have happened if there was mud off the runway Marek? Did your gf have the Land Rover? ;)

So there's 0.6 seconds difference between launch and non-launch. i.e. add 0.6 seconds to EVERY car's launch-controlled 0-100, to get real-world comparisons and times.
Launch control is just a cheat thing that masks / exaggerates the day-to-day driving ability of the car.

If that launch control is too complicated for you. WOW. I hope you know your way home. You have no chance with the GPS or any other cars GPS. Hope you know with the gears that R does not mean race

This reviewer needs to do a better job of not letting his strong Porsche bias, color his reviews. I understand he includes a disclaimer preparing the viewer to expect sarcasm and comedic content, but don't expect anything approaching a fair and impartial opinion. The good thing is that those seriously contemplating either this BMW or others that he has reviewed, can look at the work of far more balanced and professional reviewers on TH-cam. Marek works harder at being the curmudgeon than being an unbiased presenter.
200k euro!! what is the price of a lamborghini huracan?
225k euros, but I'd get this. Believe it or not, the Huracan is recorded at 2.9 seconds to 60, and the M5 has been recorded at 2.8. Considering this is the higher than the M5, it probably could do it a bit faster.
S M A R m8 GC definitely. Much more comfortable, exclusive IMO sexier than the lambo

Not sure why BMW bothered building the M8. The regular non-M version of the 8 series is sufficient (and better for cruising) for most of the people buying this type of car.
If you want sporty, there's the M3 (just for you) or M5 (if you want to scare some backseat passengers).
Hey marek, i really like your reviews and i‘ve been a subscriber of the chanel fir years now. You do very good reviews, but there is one thing that bothers me about your videosfor some time now. I think your videos often feel stretched, because there are so many times when there is just silence in your videos, sometimes for 10 or 20 seconds. This makes parts of your videos pretty boring, i‘d rather have you remove those moments of silence and make the review a bit shorter.
But don‘t get me wrong, apart from that you still do great reviews!
In this video there is only one moment of prolonged silence during the slo-mo burnout. Please give me links and time codes to those instances of 10-20 second moments of silence in this and other reviews.

That 3.2 seconds was a lot more impressive before the model s plaid... ICEs are done. I feel sorry for those of us who liked the sound but by every other metric they are garbage.

I was referring to this particular bit of road, which I drove the 911 on as well.
