A small error at 23:26? For f(x) = (x-1)^2+2 the red line should have been up 2 units? Thank you! I’ll be teaching this over the summer to my girls going into 5th and 7th grades. They are by no means great at math but I think they can learn this in a fun way (rote?) and feel a sense of confidence and power when they return to school.
You are right. This is a very complicated topic. Thank you for presenting the key elements in such a clear, precise way. It has been overwhelming trying to grasp all this encompasses. Your presentation has made it less intimidating because of the organization and progression of topics. Thanks a million!!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I will be taking Business Precalculus during the Fall quarter and these are things that I needed to remember for that class. The part that completely opened up my eyes was Relations and Function explanation. That concept was always confusing to me, but thanks to you I get it now. Excellent and helpful video!!!
@@StealthKey yeah but realistically that's because you have to teach/reapply it to someone else. It's not really something in everyday life unless ur reapplying it to other people who need to use it so its more of a cycle if anything else that's pretty much the only reason it can be reapplied
This is great, I have a math test tomorrow and don't get functions at all, but this video helped me understand in a way that my math teacher can't.

Thanks! I have a quiz in a few minutes and this helps wrap things up real nice!
did you pass the test
Thanks!

This was a life saver! Thank you!
Thank u so much ,you made the topic easier to understand.
Thank you , so much for sharing your knowledge with us.
All very interesting. One question : when and where would you ever use mathematical functions in every day life? Business example? Science example?
Quite a few jobs actually.
