omg I've been growing my designer shoe collection and I'm totally stuck on where to put the boxes too! I have a shoe closet by the door in my apartment, but the shelves aren't high/deep enough to hold the boxes. Should I get rid of the boxes? Right now they're stuffed in random drawers around the apartment. Like, one here, two there. What a mess...
@@schizzoid I always think it is better to store the shoes in the boxes. You can tape a photo of the shoes to the box, to ensure you know where to find the shoes you want.
I used to work for a footwear company and was the sample size too! I literally took home a new pair every day. I finally decided to part ways and give them all out (thank god my family and I have the same shoe size)

My mom literally has over 100 of foot wear too and she still struggled to match it with her outfits. 😂 She always said : " OMG I don't have any shoes for this outfit bla... bla... lala " And I only have 3 pairs of shoes which is for everyday, fancy and winter boots 😂 ps. Love how Ms S helped declutter your shoes. Such a great helper💓👍#faMELy

They accept business/office appropriate clothing, accessories & shoes❣️

I would have left the shoes in the original boxes and stacked nicely. Then take a Polaroid picture of each and tape it on to the box so you know what's in each box. I seen the idea on another closet organizing video and it has come in handy!!
I adore coloured shoes and some of the colours of yourare just gorgeous. It must be a sad farewell. I appreciate the fact that we can’t wear the sky high heels anymore (or no longer longer wish to suffer the discomfort,). Bit bring on colour, texture and print I say! They’re far more wearable that people think (which I’m sure you know!). Those burgundy flat at the front at lovely! Plus the chocolate brown stuffed heels are also stunning but look quite high.

Nothing more liberating actually . I once had a boyfriend who was so horrible he threw all my heels away when I was at wrk. Safe to say I replaced them plus some as well as got rid of him. By the moral of the story is the de clutter is so good for your soul as well :)

Enjoyed the vlog! But had to chuckle when you mentioned that it was a linen closet turned into a shoe closet. Also enjoyed seeing a tiny bit of your home- -beautiful floors and loved your daughter’s top.
A place like Dress for Success would be a great place to donate some of the more work appropriate shoes! It's an organisation that helps disadvantaged women get back into the workforce with providing them work clothes and interview and resume help.
Yes that could be an idea! Thank you for the suggestion. Originally this was a linen closet but hopefully now they I have cleared it out it won't fill up anytime soon. Need to organise my designer shoes soon lol xx

I am currently doing the same... I just started yesterday, but alone since I don't have such a great helpful hand ;-) ... and it is a real nightmare for me!!! Honestly speaking I am not very good at getting rid of any of my stuff, so that is a huge challenge for me now. But I hope in a few days I will be finished... hopefully ;-)
I have about 30 brand new pairs of sneakers in my room which I do not wear & those that I do are kept in the garage .. I do not like bringing up & down my shoes so for me, there is no need of a shoe closet :P & I think what you need is a new shoe closet cuz this kind of shelving just not going to work & we all know you will be buying more hehe
How do you keep your shoes clean? If i leave my shoes uncovered i will get super dusty shoes back in less than a week. Especially silk,suede shoes etc.

It only took like 10 years lol Yes don't worry I'm quite a hoarder too but yes it was finally time to have a major clear out! I felt so happy when my sisters, mum and friends took so many pairs they loved. Now i need to try tackle other rooms haha xo
