    What an incredible video! I've waited for the last three days until I had a quiet time to make a coffee, get comfortable, and enjoy the video the way it deserves. Such a stunning landscape, what a beautiful story you're sharing with us. You're definitely not making it easy for me to choose any other place to visit than Norway. Can't wait to see the second part! Keep up the good work!

    Wow Wow Wow Oddbjørn An absolutely stunning location. The mountain looks superb in the light & the to find your ice tunnel towards the foot of it, simply wonderful. I take my hat off you for finding it, tackling it on your own & capturing it so brilliantly so we can all enjoy the journey. A great bit of storytelling, especially film all that B roll... that must take so much time & effort. You looked liked the cat that had got the cream on discovering that entrance. Many Thanks for sharing this fantastic location & story. I am already looking forward to the next instalment. Bravo... Best Wishes David

      Thank you very much David! Many kind words here, I appreciate it 🦊 the light just got better and better as the sun went down, and the small lights down in the tunnel.. surreal! It was a great adventure, and I’m glad I took the chance to find and experience it 👍 I try to make the videos as good as they can be, since I usually don’t post every week nowadays 🙂 thanks again! PS, I have started working on the sequel 👍

    That was a great and phantastically well-made video! I thought that the name reminded me of something from the norse mythology (and then you mentioned it). But, man that really isn't a trip I would want to do on my own. I found it stomach churning to watch you walk about the (possibly) thin cealings of ice caves underneath. But as you had a chance to upload this video, I trust that you returned safely :)
    Best wishes,
    Markus

    • @oddbjrnaustevikfoto
      @oddbjrnaustevikfoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Markus! Glad you liked it. Yes, norse mythology is all over Hollywood lately, so the name pops up time and again! It had been some time since I did a solo wild camp, and I thought that this could be one of those adventures best experienced on my own. That being said, all I wanted to after I got out of the tunnel was to show it to everyone, hehe. It was out of this world. Probably safer with a companion though, but I would not have entered if I thought it would be very dangerous :)

      Thank you! Jotunheimen is fantastic. Will definetly return at another time 👍 all photographs from the video is the S1, all «walking clips» and other b-roll clips is the S1. All «talking video» is the iPhone. The GH5 was used in the second part when filming midtre ringsting from far away. If I write each time I use the individual cameras, it would distract from the story I think 🙂 hope that helps!

    Litt skeptisk til at du rusler rundt på og inni en isbre uten en ekstra mann(taulag), tau, isøks og stegjern , samt kunskap om bre og redning(kan jo være du har det). Men regner med det gikk bra, siden du kan fortelle historien 😁. Gleder meg til fortsettelsen 👍

      Ja, det er jo alltid en risiko involvert når man utforsker slike steder. Men jeg brukte lang tid på å undersøke forholdene før jeg bestemte meg for å gå ned. Tunellen er fremdeles åpen for folk, men ekspertene er usikre på hvor sikker den er. Noen sier den er trygg, andre sier at den er farlig. Jeg såg en stein som hadde falt igjennom når jeg gikk ned. Kanskje den har ligget der i 25 år, kanskje den falt ned i forrige uke, vanskelig å si uten å besøke den jevnlig, hehe. Fortsettelen kommer om en liten time :)
