  • Big Gipp and James Worthy discuss their views on rap music today and criticize the Grammy voting process. They believe that rap has lost its authenticity and the Grammys are controlled by old white people who don't truly understand or appreciate the music. They express the need for artists to create their own platforms and stop seeking validation from mainstream awards.

rap is so simple it genre which personality is more than music. when hip hop was not popular they had to be decent because people would not listen to it other wise. In fact only reason why people listen to hip hop for the beats. If people truly liked rap than rap rock would be more of a thing and with other genres mix with rap.

Facts. That’s why when people from the south say they running hip hop, I tell them “you can have it. If y’all want to claim this crappy music as your own, knock yourself out. The golden age of hip hop was when it was east and west with a little sprinkle of the south. I’m talking the 1990’s. Best era in hip hop. Ever since the south become the commercial sound of hip hop, the quality went down. Not every southern rapper has Organize Noize doing their production like Outkast and them did.
