I've been watching your tech reviews for 5 years now but mannn!! I'm loving this side of Ranjit so much. These are one of my favourite vlogs! Keep it up !
Not only this bike, it's recommended in every bike to get the chain lubed for every 500kms, in rainy seasons even at 300 to 400kms because the chain is prone to rusting without maintenance.
Hello sir. RE renders image of every bike with single seat, even if you go through the pictures of Classic 350 they will mostly advertise it with single seater. FYou can install pillion seat as well, that is standard with every bike. Don't worry about that. You can have that on your list as well if you are really liking it.
I think you might wanna hang on this a bit more. Maybe have a bit more fun. I think you should redline it more often. Take it touring and try the twisties. Seems too early to upgrade don't you think?
Hello Sir, one of the reasons the RE Interceptor is affordable is because it makes power like a 400-500cc bike. While the Trident and others in the category make almost double,i.e., about 80 to 90 bhp when compared to Interceptor's 47 bhp. At around 5L budget and you being a sedate rider, I think the RE 650s is the best option. Thankyou. Happy riding😄
CB350 is really well thought of and highly engineered bike . It is exceptionally light like 100 cc and heavy when needed practically . Best power bike in bumper to bumper traffic and highway king
It's not affordable because it makes less power. What kind of reasoning is that? Lol. It's cheaper in India because it's made in India (tax exemption) and costs double the price in other countries. And why would you compare trident with interceptor? It's a modern triple cylinder engine with high compression ratio and liquid cooling unlike RE's air-cooled relaxed engine. If anything, compare it to kawasaki w800. RE most probably wanted to target the a2 licence holders in europe(new riders and below 24 year olds) which may explain conservative compression ratio of the engine.
With some mods, the int 650 can give those triumphs a run for their money. Search S&S camshaft for 650 twins. That, and a ecu remap and you have a triumph killer
Interceptor is an excellent choice.. can’t go wrong with any aspect of that bike. It’s not perfect at anything but it’s very good at everything!! Jack of all trades!
I'll recommend to rev engine little bit more before shifting to 4. I prefer to shift post 80km/h. Reason for this that CB350 is very tall geared bike. You can check rear sprocket teeth, it is 35, way lower than other bikes (more than 42teeth). thus you need to shift gears little later than other bikes.
Here is the bike list I made for you according to what you said and think that you maybe comfortable with: 1. Honda CB 400 2. BENELLI TRK 251 3. Evolet hawk electric 4. Honda CB500R 5. Suzuki V storm 400 and 250 6. Bajaj Dominar 400 7. Ather 450X 8. Komaki TN95
Hello Ranjit sir, it is clear that KTM sitting position is not suiting you. I would suggest you to try bajaj dominar 400. It is a beast at that price point and maybe it will suit you better in terms of acceleration and torque. I have done may long trips on that bike and the experience has been amazing.
In dusty conditions like we have in our country, one should clean and lube the chain every 500 kilometers. You should get the chain cleaner and lubricant kit so that you can do it yourself very easily.
Chain cleaning and lubrication can be easily done at home.. No need to visit service center. They come in separate spray cans costing about 900-1000/- for 500ml cans.
sir, you can consider Dominar 400 itself, it is a slightly detuned version of duke 390, it has 40 ps of power which you may consider adequate for you. Have a test ride and see if it fits. It's also within your budget.
Hi Ranjit, let me know about the suspension tuning we can keep on Hness. I am riding Hness for a year now, I kept the suspension tuning to 1 step. I feel good suspension now. What is your suggestion?
No luck the service guy told... it's already set to the softest position and I just find it too hard for the pillion. If I ride it alone it's fine but it's bad for pillion.
@@GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs If the suspension is bottoming out with the pillion, it means it is too soft. In that case adding some stiffness should help But if it is harsh otherwise, then not much can be done
Usually i shift to 5th gear after reaching 80kmph in my H'ness . After installing "BMC airfilter" it changed to 100kmph so almost no use of 5th gear in the city rides unless the road is empty
I really feel you should ride the triumph trident 660. It's one hell of a bike. Also some videos and review are there from a channel called Anurag Salagaonkar. It will definitely provide you the pull you need with proper siting unlike a super bike
You should definitely post the look of the bike after the mirror update. Just want to know if the retro look goes along well with the rectangular mirrors
No need to have chain lubing as the new chains are sealed with lube and any external lubing will not do any better. It will just remain on the outside and eventually get off from the chain surface due to centrifugal force. Then you will have a nice metal to metal contact between chain sprocket and chain and it's okay. For more information see the video on this fron Fortnine channel on youtube.
@@GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs yes understandable.. Do test ride Honda cb300r, BMW g310r and ninja 300.. Going by the fact that you got bored of highness power in 2.5 months.. You might want to think of trident etc class bikes more too 😅
Found this channel today, Have been a subscriber of your main channel since 2014. Great content as always. Much love. Can we get a review of the riding gear that you use?
Hello Greekyranjit i felt u wer gem in mobile stream but after seeing ua bike video with CB350 RS I really feel that u have the same sense of what this generation have 🎉❤️😘
A new triumph would be a pretty expensive but a bike from the second hand market might fit your bill. You'll have to check exactly what is available where but I've seen a few triumphs available on droom for what is a significantly lower price than what it's sold at even if it has a less than 10k kms on it. Just a suggestion thought cause in the end a new bike is a new bike.
Best bike hands down would be Triumph Street Twin for your preference. Budget is a bit high but for the power, this is a beast. If you are preferring towards a naked one, you may go for the KTM 790 duke.
8 lakhs plus for a 60hp bike is too much over priced. That's why RE is a much sweeter deal..at almost 3 times lesser price you are getting almost everything with a slight 13hp reduction in power. NB: I am talking about street twin.
Just try speed petrol in cb350 ! The engine is much more refined and easily pulls in 5th gear also 350-400ccs are sweet spot like Oneplus Nord / IPhone regulars The 600+ categories is not that great for city conditions the weight, the heat management, the maintenance everything goes up !
If you are looking for comfortable seats on a naked.. You can try looking at BMW G310R.. It is fun to drive.. Comfortable to sit for the rider as well as the pillion.. Good power.. But seems to get a it of vibrations at speeds closer and above 100.. Apart from that, good bike to have.. PS. Loved the vlog as always
You can also consider the RE Continental GT 650 model, which is also a great option and well in your budget. Seeing your needs and as you're not into too many long rides and stuff with the bike, the RE models will be the best. You can even consider the BMW bikes (sub liter class).

haha... he specifically said that he no longer prefers a cruiser. So Bonneville was and not is an option now. Although, I can vouch for Triumph street twin. It's a beast in it's league!

Lubing frequency of the chain depends on the conditions around you. If you live in very dusty area you may need to do in 300km.
Even for my Apache RR 310, the chain lubing interval is every 500 kms. I think that is standard for lot of bikes.

I was 5/6 yo, when I saw the kinetic Honda. It was so cute. I really liked stand in front of that scooter, my uncle used to ride.
