The best feature that I liked is the satellite communications. It totally seems useful in a lot of situations, suppose you are travelling in remote areas and got stranded for some reason, the emergency satellite communication would be super helpful in such cases.
Also honestly speaking the notch looks better to me than the dynamic island. But now that Apple has implemented it, surely everyone will copy it.

Apple also has copied AOD even tho it works slightly different than current smartphones AOD solutions. Why dont ppl say that Apple has copied that? Why ppl always say others will copy Apple. Copying things has been the case from both sides since a very long time.
Most of the phones come with puch hole display and I don't think this will be copied by any brand. Also apple has done this to hide their notch which is significantly lager than any other smartphone brands.
Are you living under a rock?? Android smartphones comes with a punch hole design, that was popularised by samsung, infact Apple copied the dynamic island design from Samsung's pill hole design in S10 series.

I mean if it was as wide as dual front selfie camera then maybe it would just work, this is like having a complete Bezel and then having a narrow display. Also this Dynamic island is just a gimmick as isheeps say for Android stuffs, they should find it as well a gimmick. But I am an Android fan and so I respect innovation so this is pretty cool but I can scroll down the notification panel to adjust that. And ya by notification panel, can you now use it like you can in Android or does it still takes you to a different menu😂

I agree with you that Apple is attempting to push people toward their pro models. Previously, they added pro features to non-pro models in the next generation, I hope they'll add high refresh rate to non-pro models, but they did not. The new 14 non-pro series is completely disappointing, and it makes no sense to call it an upgrade over the previous generation. Previously, there was one iOS user base; now, there are two: iOS, and iOS-pro, as the new dynamic island and 48MP optimization clearly separate the iOS.

Actually android doesn't need dynamic island feature because we will soon see under display camera which is real innovation.
Dynamic island is software feature, not only hardware, i loved the implementation.
Android already has split screen and most importantly floating window. You can push many floating windows at the side and use when ever you want. It's just that there are so many upgrades in Android that people forget. This year Apple had just one Innovation and so it is highlighted 🤣. And if you are considering that Satellite SOS, that feature is not available in India, it's just for USA. And by the way even 8 to 10 lakh rupees cars have that feature. And if you can't afford an 8-10 lakh car then stop wasting your money on a 1.4 lakh rupees (starting) phone, save some money and first buy a proper car! If you crash in a cheap car you can die, having a better car can save life. The SOS feature was the only impressive feature for me but it wasn't practical as most of the transports in USA have that feature and that feature is not in India so it is also restricted to be a gimmick. Just wondering what Apple did for the whole year🤔. I mean making a punch hole is not that hard and just that dynamic continent thing which is not better than floating window by far. You know if you have used it. And no design change. Not major improvement in A-16. A 48 MP camera was added but just like pixel it can't shoot 48 MP High res shots, well better than not. And that sensor was made by sony, apple has nothing to do with it other than ordering.(No their engeneers didn't design it and all it was just sony, sony can sell the same sensor to other phones unless apple has paid them extra to not do so)

Dynamic island is basically a pill notification widget, nothing ground breaking but it's indeed nicely Integrated and implemented.
The iPhone 14 is 99% similar to the iPhone 13 with 60Hz etc but we all know most top reviewers (unlike GT) won't even complain, nevermind.

Only software enhancements and new features related to capsule cut display, that's what it feels .
Actually those 2 are the only things they've given. I can't see anything else. About that capsule notch, my S20 FE 5G notification settings is far more customizable

Disappointed by apple’s strategy
Early all new features were available for single Iphone but now they are unnecessarily launching pro and max models to make profits
They are bifurcating consumers.
Only super rich people will by pro variant.
Still apple is playing this strategy that only rich people can afford apple iphone pro.
Apple should only launch 3 phones
1-Iphone SE for entry level buyer/compact phone buyers
2-Iphone for normal (6.1 inch)
3- iphone plus (6.7inch) for big phone buyers.
Differentiating buyers is good for small run but for long run it's not a good practice.
Normal iphone are the highest selling phones for apple if they do not give proper update to non pro then they will definitely loose market share.

14 Pro is the defacto 14 ,rest are all ‘minis’ in a sense. Apple has been incrementally adding top notch features to only pro models since 3-4 year’s. rest make your decision if pocket & work permit

In my opinion the "Dynamic Island" is the coolest and the most functional thing anyone could have done to the laser cut hole punched screens from the time Samsung made it happen. This is vintage Apple right there. Now the only thing to see is how bad will selfie camera keep getting smudged by finger prints.
But lets see how many apps will support this. Right now only apple apps will support it.

To be honest except Dynamic Island which I do feel is one of their best innovation. I don't see any other improvements which can be called as innovation. AOD, small notch, camera sensor size(which Samsung also went from 12mps to higher) ones all were already available technology. For iPhones they should be called improvements or additions rather than innovations.

To be honest, there's nothing innovative about the dynamic island - they had to conceal the camera hole. Innovative would be to have behind the screen (hidden) camera, by the way which some android phones already have

Apple never used to compromise on performance, instead they used to provide a few features less. E.g. iPhone SE 2020 has the same A13 chip as that of iPhone 11 Pro Max despite having more than 1 lakh price difference.
It seems this is changing now, with Vanilla iPhone 14 series getting prev gen A15 Chip and Pro ones getting the latest A16.
No doubt A15 is a very capable processor but it seems Apple is now going the Samsung way in terms of Chip offering
