I gave up trying to find someone on dating apps, social media, bars and every other place our generation looks for love these days. Not to talk down on anyone who met their partner that way and is completely happy but it doesn’t feel right for me. It feels forced and like I’m taking shortcuts. I was 27, and hadn't dated anyone. I didn't feel it was my calling. Then I met my Husband. Via Google chat, in March of 2005. He was in Germany, still in the Army. I knew instantly. Met him face to face in December of 2005. Martied in June 2006. We now have 6 children, and are still giddy in love with each other, almost 18 years later. He was made for me, and I for him.

Prior to meeting my husband, I prayed for him. Thinking back, it's amazing how fast a prayer gets answered believing that God will. Now that we are married, I prayed for the baby that's forming in my womb, a prayer I made everyday for almost 2 years. To date, we are 10 weeks 3 days, and counting! Our baby will arrive Dec 2021.

However I continued asking God for a child and here I am with a 6 year old little boy with autism and when I hear this I tear up thinking of him. Even with all the complications, God heard my prayers! And I know he gave me this because I’m tough enough to handle it! 🙌🏽

I'm 17 years old and I pray to God every night and I always ask for the same things every time, to forgive us for our sins, thank him for the day today and ask him for a great day tomorrow, but there's always that one question I want to ask but dont because I feel itd be selfish of me to even ask when there's other things in the world that are more serious. 5 years ago I was frustrated with God wondering where my future husband was, and why I hadn’t met him yet. My mom reminded me that maybe it wasn’t the right time yet and instead of being frustrated, to pray for my future husband because he may need it.
Fast forward to when I met him and I knew he was the one. I told him about how I prayed for him (without knowing who he was) starting that day and he almost broke down crying saying that at that same time he was going through a really difficult period and really needed prayer. Amazing how God works in His perfect timing. Remember, everyone, to be patient and pray for your future spouse! They may really need it!

Nicki K I prayed for God to watch over him, protect him, and guide him until I would meet him. And since I knew one reason maybe we hadn’t met yet was because he had to learn or grow in some way before God thought we were ready to meet, I prayed that he would be open and receptive to what God wanted to teach him and that whatever hardships he may be going through, that God would comfort him until I could be there to comfort him myself.
Somewhere in the world God is preparing a man to cross my paths in Divine timing. I hear this song and cry because it's definitely a God whisper.❤️

If 1000 years is like a day with God, I am doing pretty good at 48.
Nearly 2 years ago, I told God that if I ever dated again, he needed to be *my idea of a perfect guy* . I didn’t expect any guy on earth to reach those standards because I had given up hope of dating. But, around 5 months ago, I met him. He’s perfect, exactly what I prayed for. I’ve been waiting on God bc he’s been telling me too but He keeps reassuring me that he is the one. I asked God to present me with a bracelet if he rlly was for me, a few days later I received a bracelet. I’ve noticed how things have been starting to move and God keeps putting us in situations to grow closer. I’m gonna keep trusting God through it. God spent a year turning my life around and creating me to be who I need to be to receive the blessing. The waiting is hard but I know the promised land will be so worth the wait ❤

I started praying for him when I heard this song by the name of you make me feel brand new as a little girl. I told God to let my future husband sing this to me and he did. Almost six years ago, on the 19th of September, I met a man that I spent most of 2013 praying for. I'd been brokenhearted and so had he. I asked God to give me a man that I would love and respect, who would love and respect me back, that would be kind and loyal and a true friend. It's amazing to think that he spent most of the same year praying for the same thing. Now here we are, married, and happier than ever. I still get butterflies when I see him. :)

I thought I was catching feelings for a girl I worked with at the time, so I prayed for her a couple of times. The third time, right after I said amen a coworker messaged me saying "What do you think of her?" Well she went back to Texas from where I am in Montana. I kept on praying and in December she asked me out for when she got back. In August she got back. Last weekend, I told her I loved her, and turns out she had planned to say it that day as well. Prayer works y'all. The one Is out there, and keep on praying for them! It works!

A few years back- closer to 3-4 years ago...I’d pray for him every night. And his family as the Holy Spirit led me in prayer...Fast forward- two years ago I met the love of my life and God has blessed us in so many ways- giving us months to work together, to grow together and to fall in love so very deeply. He’s been a blessing to me and I will always cherish him. Fast forward to now and we are just a few weeks away from welcoming our son into this beautiful world God created and from buying our home. I love you Ed. And Thank You God for hearing my prayers for him.

After a terrible marriage, I finally got out. Every night I would pray and ask god to send me someone who would love me and my children and he finally sent me that man. I meet this incredible lady 3.5 years ago, she told me didn't want a relationship. She repeated this over and over again to me. I keep praying about her. I almost gave up on her at one time.
