    Hi, my name is Merrill Kazanjian. New York City is an amazing place to go metal detecting. We have lots of parks, colonial history and great beaches for beach detecting. I have gone to all five boroughs of New York City To Metal Detect and beyond. I also currently own 16 metal detectors. I want to have the best and I want to help you choose the best as well. I am a treasure hunter. So in addition to metal detecting, I go mudlarking at sites such as Dead Horse Bay. Think of mudlarking as metal detecting without a metal detector.

    I dug a rosette, horse tack, about the size of a silver dollar, from the civil war, at least 15" down using the deep mode, 85 gain, 14khz. I haven't tried the EUD yet but may give it a try.

  • @TheBigtreble
    @TheBigtreble 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Brother, you keep using the EUD, feature and you will need to get a bigger digger, lol. Thanks for the tip. Never tried that feature yet but I think I will.

    Anfibio from 0-8 and from 94-99 are both iron singal
    If you use the 3 tone mode if the gain are over 89 you get extra depth but well be more noisy. If you make it 89 and less you well loose abut 2 inch deep but well be lot more stable and clean
    Am using 2 mode same time. I start with deep mode, if i find target and the single not clear i change on the same target for the 3 tone (89 gain) to confirmed before digging👍

    Tectonic plates! I LOLed a good one there. Anfibio is the deepest I have used in the VLF range. Even the Nox is bested by it. Glad to see you getting those NASA controls down. Keep it up man.

      That was the only reason I left your live stream yesterday! I mostly hunt New York parks. A lot of detectorists have been through already. The signals that are left you really have to work for! Im really interested in that PI machine you mentioned that was so good in trashy areas!

    Merrill; Nice video, but a suggestion if I may(?) You need to realize how valuable your time is. Doing the equivalent of excavating a basement for what amounts to landfill trash is a waste of your most precious resource.

    Im a recent subscriber and was initially attracted to your channel for the simple fact you own a Beach Hunter as do I. But in the process I became interested in the Nokta Anfibio Multi.. I just bought one.. Yes over the Nox 800.. I just couldnt get over the price.. Going through growing pains with it but not half as much if I had bought a Minelab.. I figured the Nokta is a F75 on steroids and Im a F75 guy.. Hope I didnt make a mistake?

    Dig big round plugs with a flap. If the target pinpoints as deep you need to make a large plug so you have a chance in hell to retrieve the target without all that effort
