  • In this videos i will show you how to go boating on your own , what you need to know , the difference between port and starboard . Boating can be fun on your own you dont always need someone with you to moor a boat or to have fun. as long as you know the basics. i use our Jeanneau merry fisher 655 to show you some of the boating basics, to allow you to go boating for beginners

Very good instructional video and very well explained to new boaters. You kept in simple terms and very easy to follow. Cheers and just subscribed.

this driving on the right - using the road driving analogy - thank you so much for this! every time i hear someone explain where you should sit in relation to the red and green buoys, it somehow gets more complex every time. your explanation is exactly the way i understand it best. great video, thank you!

Thanks for the info! Do you have any of the RYA qualifications? Thinking of getting a cruiser so would be interested to find out as i'm considering doing the courses over the next few months.

Hi no I haven’t done any qualifications just learnt from family and friends , have had boats for many years and have picked everything up along the way

@@langersboating474 That's interesting, do you have to pay more for insurance? (that's the main reason i was thinking about getting the qualifications) I've been crusing on the norfolk broads lots of times and canal boats ages ago but was not sure if that counted for insurance purposes.

🤔 he docked his boat on an island dock. He has to either take a boat to his dock or swim to it to get his boat. I'm no expert, and I don't have a boat, but that doesn't sit right with me. Wtf
