Just found your channel. As a stroke survivor I need to watch and relearn. Thank you for a splendid tutorial. I saved it. First time seeing a complete tutorial of how a quilt is built. I only have hotspot so depending on the weather is what I get to watch. So glad I found you…
i so liked the fact that you did this from start to finish. who cares how long it takes to film at least it's all in one. Thanks for that and great job!
I made this quilt using a panel in the middle, ABSOLUTELY A BEAUTIFUL QUILT!!!!! Thank you so much! I love watching your videos the way you show us start to finish.
Brilliant quilt! Just EXACTLY what I want for a scrap quilt!!!!!! I cut all my leftovers into 5" blocks and never know what to do with them quickly that doesn't look dumb. Thank you soooo much!
I’m sure I’m repeating myself and others. But, it’s necessary to say what a joy it is to watch your methods and techniques. So understanding, precise. And a joy! Happy sewing!
My third time watching this. Love this quilt! I'm going to have this be my first quilt. Thanks so much for your instructions. You and I will be making this together. 😍
I take hours on color deciding as it’s not my best point. I’m always matchy matchy instead of contrast. I love how she trusts that her squares “go” together and doesn’t dawdle. Love the video, gonna try this.
That’s the beauty of using a charm pack because by design, they are made to give you an excellent color match and contrast. Just find one that you like from a designer you like, there are endless options. If the increased cost bothers you stick to a fabric line and get yardage and cut your own, but personally that is really more expensive unless you are making a very large quilt and cutting is not my favorite part.
@@karenbennett3662 I’m planning to use this pattern idea to make a memory quilt for my daughters.. using some of their old dresses as the central part.. and hopefully there’s enough to do the sides with some extra suitable material .. 🤔🤔
You have to remember that designers of fabric collections for charm and layer cakes know what patterns and colours go together. Trust them and just put things together.
OMGOSH! To watch a quilt being made from start to finish! I am a novice, just starting on simple, small projects at age 73. I used to watch my mother-in-law quilt on her big ole wooden frame that hung suspended from the ceiling in their big OLD pre-civil war farmhouse. In my older age I’ve started picking up some of the old ways to learn. Thank you so much!!
Wow love the pattern Tiffany. Really takes on a different look in the fabrics. The one with the yellow background gives me a boho vibe. Bold and warm colors. Love the quilt stitching design to. The other one I get a chabby Chic vibe. Light and airy. Really pretty. Love them both. It's amazing how the same pattern can look so different in the fabric choices. Great video Tiff really enjoyed it.👍
I really love watching you show us what to do,you make it look so easy, and your hand quilting was fabulous that must of took you years to learn luv Teresa
Thank you very much for taking your time to show us step by step how to make a quilt from start to finish . You have done a great job and I love very much the suttle one.
I am so happy this popped up in my feed! I have spent the last 3 weeks working on a quilt that is just a disaster! I finally decided nothing I could do would save it. I have a lot of charms left so going to make this. I really appreciate that you show which way to press so that the seams lock together. So excited to start!!
Watching as you zipped through the actual quilting part of this project made me think "We've come a long way, baby". I remember when my mother made quilts and when she got to the part where she was guilting, dad would bring the "horses" in and set them up in the living room (the only room that had enough empty floor space) and she would stretch the quilt out on those horses and sit there for DAYS meticulously guilting that by hand. I remember being amazed that she didn't constantly stick her fingers with a needle because she would hold one hand UNDER the guilt and stick the needle through the guilt blindly but somehow she never stuck a finger. The actual quilting took days and she would be more than astonished to see how fast you are doing this. I'm a recent subscriber so I'm playing catchup with your videos. I have never guilted but you make it look so easy (I'm sure it isn't) that I'm tempted to try.
You should try 😊 it's very calming and relaxing and such a great distraction to life in general. Quilting is fantastic therapy. Glad you found my channel 😊
Start with a pillow or a pair of pillow shams....starting smallish means if you love it, you can expand. If not, you haven't invested your life savings. And, if you REALLY hate it, donate it to a charity for a fundraiser!
When I watched this video my husband watched with me and now he wants me to make him one. There is no higher praise than from someone else's husband! I have it on my to do list so I will be watching this video again when I decide which charm packs I want to use. Thank you for sharing such a great pattern.
What a great pattern. The first one you showed is very striking with that yellow background. Thank you Tiffany. I actually have a layer cake in mind for this. One layer cake equals 4 charm packs so I will be able to make 2 Quilts. One for my daughter and one for charity. A win win.
Both of the quilts are beautiful. I like the one you just make the best. The colors are softer. I quilt also. I also make table runners. I just started quilting when I retired 6 years ago and have made over 10 quilts that I have finished and still have about 5 tops made and have to finish them. I hope you have a blessed week.
P.S. I'M SO IMPRESSED: an easy, quick, beautiful quilt. Can't wait to make one. I think I'll be using beautiful solids with a dark charcoal background! I love Amish Quilts, and I have a fat quarter bundle burning a hole in my pocket 😆 Again, many Thanks.
Oh my heavens, I dearly love this quilt. Thank you so very, very much for your instructions on creating this beauty. I definitely learned a lot from you and will continue to follow you. The off white background is absolutely my favorite. Thanks again ♥♥♥
Tiffany, you are a Treasure to watch in action! I LOVE the bold gold on the first quilt but I also love the softer tones of the cream as well. Great tutorial and again Tiffany, you never disappoint us with the extra details of your work. Thank you for the tutorial. Have a Blessed day!
And that's how you do it folks! Really Tiffany I am loving your long videos. Something about the music you have on puts me to sleep. A treat for me. I do go back and watch the whole thing again though. This is a beautiful quilt and you make the long arm a pleasant surprise in it's ease. I wanted one before I knew how to quilt. Probably way to expensive for us. Anyway, happy quilting! ( I am binge watching your videos in case you didn't notice lol!)
I love it! This was a very helpful video. Thank you. I do like the off white better. So so pretty. I’m thinking about making it. Specifically, with wine, pinks and blues.
This is going to make WHOLE LOT of baby quilts, lol! As an efficiency-sucker-upper and admirer of creativity I'm grinning through this whole video 😊 Oh, yeah, and scrappy ASPCA pet blankies, too - a smidgy smaller. Thanks so much! 🐞
I've been making pieced binding for years. I thought it was my big secret idea. I even use leftover block pieces on the back instead of leaving it plain. Good quilting too. Oh, bold and subtle. Kiss and hugs.
YOU are amazing! Just discovered your videos and am fascinated. I have learned so much already just watching you do two quilts. Your patience and instinct when you quilt are fascinating.
You are so easy to watch. I might never make a full quilt, but your instructions are so clear, I am sure I could. Some quilters on TH-cam are a hot mess without a clear idea of what they want to do. It’s actually pretty sad.
I love the creativity of this “scrappy” quilt that does not look scrappy. You are talented and skilled. I love that you give directional pressing instruction. Thank you, Kathleen
Absolutely love your style and your quilts. I'm so happy I found you here. I will be watching all your tutorials now. You're so inspiring. Keep it coming. You're doing a wonderful job! Thank you so very much for inspiring us.
Thank you for the very informative and visual video. I also wanted to thank you for showing how to do a backing. I have been trying to figure how to--do them for a long time. Also thank you for the how to on the binding. I will be putting this one on the bucket list.
Hi there. I've never done quilting before but ironically I just watched the whole video which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for sharing your how to do it. I really love the design. ❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏
Love the quilts. Everything about this video is fantastic. Loved the music in the background too. I know I’ve said this before, but this is a God given talent!
Wow! I have been working on a quilt and after taking blocks out and sewing back together I have a large square. This pattern has inspired me as to how I can now finish it and it not be just a boring scrappy looking quilt. THANK YOU1
I really like this lady! She gets right on with showing how it’s done! No rambling on and on, just straight to the point! So nice!
Thanks 😊
Yes, amen! Love it
I really like this idea-I even shared it with my old college roommate (1974)
We are quilting buddies too❤
Tiffany, I watch you regularly but I’m a “lurker” and don’t comment often. But, DANG, girl! Magic! I loved the innovation of this pattern. Thank you.
Thank you 😊

I love your efficiency, order of operations, and precision--it reminds me a lot of Donna Jordan's work.
Thank you 😊
Yes, love both women!!

Yup they are 😆
