At SCCA Time Trial Nationals, I was lucky to be on the track with some VERY good drivers and some very cool cars. In this video, I chase a Ford Fiesta ST around the NCM Motorsports park road course in Bowling Green.
After crashing my 2017 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) at a #Gridlife Track Battle event, I decided it was time to get back to it. I had taken my Prelude out to Weatherly Hillclimb to compete, but I knew the car needed some updating and upgrades. After spending some time and money on Konig Ampliforms, Hankook Ventus RS4 tires, Hawk DTC60 brake pads and some maintenance, I took my 1997 Honda Prelude (BB6) out to SCCA Time Trial at NCM.

I preferred yesterday’s video due to so much more imput. I.e. what gear you were in, how fast you were going, what your RPM’s were etc. thx again.

I’ve had a FiST since 2015, the overheating issue was a recall, it’s fine other than that. Amazing little cars

110mph is cooking. I have a prelude and I've been watching your videos. I'm from northeast pa and I'm looking forward to doing the hillclimb in your other videos. Also, you may want to fix description to state "Fiesta".

That huge steering wheel. Id prefer a smaller dished wheel. Also helps with the right seating position.

Doesn’t throwing your steering whee into the corners to cause you to lose traction make your times slower? I think if you took your time to turn the wheel where you need to would let you have a better angle in the corners and to also get on the throttle to apply power sooner, but idk I don’t have track experience, was a good watch though! I did enjoy the video overall
Imagine an all wheel drive set up on prelude
I think shorter gearing would be amazing

That's for sure, the Type R is a joy to own, look at, and of course, drive!
