Cloverworks imo has the quality of shows at least on par with Ufotable and Kyoani if they really wanted ,the only problem is that it seems, for them to achieve that they have to sacrifice their employees ,even worse than Mappa or OLM ,i think they got their animation director in hospital twice for a show (I think it was Wonder Egg Priority) ,but one thing is for sure ,their quality is up there .

For the brother beheaded thing, in the manga there was more detail. It wasn't just a single scene, it told you in words too.
What happened was that the brother has been executed through beheading, MC father committed suicide, and MC girl not only died but also got violated too, and the 2 soldiers that was chasing the MC died in battle. They tell you all in that without stopping in the manga, while in the anime they shortened it to just a single second of brother head being chopped off, lol XD
