Thanks Jerry. I have been looking for a scan tool like this in the sub $500 range for a while. Can never pull the trigger on one. Trying to keep budget as well as quality in mind is hard and to just blindly buy this or any tool can be frustrating. I appreciate your honest reviews and the effort it takes to produce these videos. I have a Launch and you can use this as a tablet to search the web right from the drivers seat when doing diag with the tool Can this tool do that? I'd love to have it as a backup, but want to be able to add apps or what not to the android system that this runs on.
Yes you can! You can go into the play store and add what you want. I just got this scanner and am watching this video on it. You have full internet access with it including TH-cam obviously. Hope this helps
Do any of those bi-directional scanners give you a fill status from the drivers seat accumulator? I think it would be useful to know when you're close to full in the accumulator from farts blown into the drivers seat! lol
Hey Jerry. My truck has been doing a couple odd things recently. I'd like to do a deep scan with a higher end OBD reader like the ones you have just to see if there are any codes or issues. Think I could swing by one day? If this is something you would be interested in I do still have your number and can send you a text or call.
We all know most chips,hardware/memory/rom/graphics comes from china . Snappy made from same but cost more because its a ready to go ( in gamer talk get same base then upgrade for you .ie your circumstances). Or buy best just because you can ,for 2 -3 games

In the Sub 500 range they are so hit and miss. The more expensive scanners the software is easier to navigate but these ones are still good
@BackCountry Wrenching check out the Ancel V6 pro...I also have an X7"HD" for diesels...thats a great unit, but for automotive I'd go with a V6 pro

To be honest I’ve never tried to use the android system

I just looked and it’s locked to the software, doesn’t seem to be a way to access the android system
