I am a Filipino but born as a US citizen. At my early age, I was already so proud to know that I am an American citizen and brag about it to my friends and schoolmates. I have been here now for over 50 years and served in the Navy for seven years. Worked at several companies, big and small, but never experienced or noticed discrimination towards me or anybody. that I know of. In fact, I was even voted employee of the month on one of the company that I worked. Black, white, brown, Chinese, Mexican whatever color or race. we get along in or out work. I have many friends of different color, race and whatever. It is just sad to see what's happening specially to this new generation that supposed to be educated. For me, Colleges failed them, the Mainstream Media failed us, Celebrities failed us and Sports has failed us and most of all greedy, corrupt politicians failed us.
