Battlefield 4 is a first-person shooter video game developed by video game developer EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a sequel to 2011's Battlefield 3 and was released in October 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360; then later in November for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Battlefield 4 was met with positive reception. It was praised for its multiplayer mode, gameplay and graphics, but was also criticized for its short and shallow single-player campaign mode, and for its numerous bugs and glitches in the multiplayer. It was a commercial success
Battlefield 4's multiplayer contains three playable factions-the United States, China, and Russia-fighting against each other, in up to 64-player matches on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One (24-Player on Xbox 360 and PS3). A newly reintroduced "Commander Mode", last seen in Battlefield 2142, gives one player on each team a real-time strategy-like view of the entire map and the ability to give orders to teammates. Also, the Commander can observe the battle through the eyes of the players on the battlefield, deploying vehicle and weapon drops to "keep the war machinery going", and order in missile strikes on hostile targets.[7][8] A spectator mode is included, enabling players to spectate others in first or third person, as well as use a free camera to pan around the map from any angle.
On June 10, 2013, at E3, DICE featured the map "Siege of Shanghai", pitting the People's Liberation Army against the U.S. Marine Corps. The gameplay showcased Commander Mode; new weapons and vehicles; and the "Levolution" gameplay mechanic. The video displays the last of these at various points, including: a player destroying a support pillar to trap an enemy tank above it; and a large skyscraper (with an in-game objective on the top floor) collapsing in the center of the map, kicking up a massive dust cloud throughout the map and bringing the objective closer to ground level.[9] Levolution also includes effects such as shooting a fire extinguisher to fill the room with obscuring clouds, car alarms going off when stepped on, metal detectors going off once passed through, or cutting the power in a room to reduce others' visibility.[9][10]
The maps included in the main game are "Siege of Shanghai", "Paracel Storm", "Zavod 311", "Lancang Dam", "Flood Zone", "Rogue Transmission", "Hainan Resort", "Dawnbreaker", "Operation Locker" and "Golmud Railway".[11][12] The game modes on offer include Battlefield's Conquest, Domination and Rush; while adding two new game modes called Obliteration and Defuse, along with traditional game modes such as Team Deathmatch and Squad Deathmatch.[12][13]
The four kits from Battlefield 3 are present in Battlefield 4 with minor tweaks. The Assault kit must now wait for the defibrillator to recharge after reviving teammates in quick succession. The Engineer kit uses PDWs, and carbines are available to all kits. The support kit has access to the new remote mortar and the XM25 allowing for indirect suppressive fire. The Recon kit is now more mobile and is able to equip carbines, designated marksman rifles (DMRs), and C4. Sniping mechanics also give with the ability to zero in your sights (set an aiming distance), and equip more optics and accessories than previous Battlefield games. The Recon kit is still able to utilize the MAV, T-UGS, and the Radio Beacon.[14][15][16][17]
New vehicles have also been introduced. With the addition of the Chinese faction, new vehicles include the Type 99 MBT, the ZFB-05 armored car, and the Z-10W attack helicopter. Jets have also been rebalanced and put into two classes, "attack" and "stealth". The attack jets focus is mainly air-to-ground capabilities, while stealth jets focus mainly on air-to-air combat. Another vehicle added in Battlefield 4 is the addition of the RCB and DV-15 Interceptor attack boats, which function as heavily armed aquatic assault craft.

just realised how strong this could be against boats and aas, cause you can just bait their aps from long range and sicne the tv doesnt give a damn about APS, you can bonk them to death xD
Yeah definitely. I actually fully think it would be meta if it didn't slow you down as much. If you can master bailing it really fast it could still be good.

Cuz you prolly slow down cuz you stop pressing W while using tv
@@L4KKYBattlefield your character is sortof "inside" the TV so that won't work, that's why you see the gunner disappear in the chopper when he fires a TV, and that's also why you sometimes take (soldier hp) damage when people try to shoot your TV down.

I love how he didn't get locked on once the entire game, but literally everytime i hop in a jet i get instantly targeted lmao and the other team were hella low levels as well
It’s cuz he streams so he’s playing loads of games per video released, so he can use the best one
@@fegsterr understandable, its just crazy how he's literally stalling right next to their base AA and even in the middle of the map and it seems no one spotted his jet the entire game lol
I guarantee that this was his best game in a while. He’s not farming in every round he plays.
@@smortboi1320 I know, i'm not saying he's bad he's for sure a great player especially in the jet, it's just very odd the players he's going against. It seems like he's purposely joining servers with newer players or not very good ones at least, everytime I play I try and wait the queue for servers that I know sweats play. Not getting locked on once in paracel storm is like god's gift. Granted he could just be doing this for content obviously
@@sosanukem9165 yeah he’s one of those blokes. U watch any of my videos I get locked onto by both jets little birds and the aa and I don’t have a wingman helping me in the stealth. Not saying he’s a bad pilot.

I honestly had no idea jet had TV's.
I wish they made them more usable! The stall after firing sucks but you can use it during dogfights to get behind them.
Ngl going guns as usual and then when it's disabled, coming high finishing off with a tv that ignores aps and provides no incoming warning is very satisfying.

I have been using tv missile on attack jets for this specific reason and im a odd one out person
But finally someone actually tried this and the underrated power of the tv missile on attack jets

@@SilkOCE I’d say it’s probably not going to become meta because you actually need to be decent with TVs to justify using them over JDAMs or rockets
@@fegsterr well true but if you know how to hit tv missiles then its the way to go but hey at least there is a option for the pilots but i dont think people would want to take the time to practice doing the tv missile on attack jets meta and stick with the jdams or hydra rockets.
Tbh hydra rockets and laser guided are for beginners, average pilots to good pilots would use hydra rockets or jdams, but tv missile is a option for pilots that mastered both jets and tv missiles
@@MonaxNoire That's not a way to go no matter how much you can hit your TV's. By equiping TV you're giving away DPS and losing the ability to mobility kill armour. In case of hydras, also the ability to go after infantry is lost.
Against decent jet pilots, that might work once, but every single pilot you can consistently take out with a TV would be as easy to just shoot with the cannon. Instead you're just leaving yourself hovering in the sky and giving an oportunity for an easy kill. It might be good against helicopters, but your main target is on the ground and not the helis anyways.
Here he is playing in a Paracel, a map that has very little real targets for an attack jet. He is shooting incompetent jet pilots in their spawn with a TV missile as he doesn't have anything else to go after. This is not working here because it's actually a good loadout, but because the environment is perfectly set for it. Still, he'd perform better overall in this particular case if he had hydras and went after infantry. He's meming here and not playing seriosly.
The game has been out for seven years and there's a reason this hasn't been a meta and won't be a meta. You can make anything work if the enemy allows it to work, but that doesn't mean it's actually effective. It's like using a bolt action in CQ, doming bad players who can't shoot back and making a conclusion that bolt actions are good in CQC.
This won't ever work against good MAA drivers, jet pilots and on top of that you're making yourself constantly an easy target for someone who's half decent with a TOW, TV or SRAW.
Fun =/= meta.

I don't think I'll edit them out but I'll try and swear less. The stream usually has more swearing than the YT content. Game is MA15+ though in all fairness.

@@SilkOCE Yup😁 I just had to confirm it and expected some memes and tomfoolery since I ran this loadout back on PS3 mainly for the camera to spot infantry and really couldn't do much with them. Destroying the enemy team is the last thing I expected you to accomplish with these.

The tv on paracel is my loadout funny use it and kill people from far away (I’m learning jet etc so it was a good option to xp fast to unlock everything on it)

The tv missiles is one of the best weapon if you know how to use it you have so much time to spray them with the cannons beacuse it slows your jet so much and you can kill with it everything

FightingFalcon and Korpus Draige are two who are extremely good. ReWorkz is great too but he doesn't have a heap of pub jet footage aside from montages.
Hey, i've been practicing the stealth jet a lot and I could survive entire rounds even winning dogfights against level 140 sweatlords with active radar. But my problem is I can't seem to aim well at helis. I only get kills with dog fights or laser guided missiles on vehicles. Do you have any tips for me in aiming at helis? I use 30mm cannons btw.
You should use 20mm they're definitely better
