Could you imagine going back in time to your friends house with one of these boxes they can emulate all of the arcade machines and more somebody probably robbed you and take to saying it would be mind blowing would be understatement. It is truly amazing. What a small piece of hardware like that can handle compared to back in the day.
Heck you can do it on your phone now with a Bluetooth controller. You can also use a ps4 controller and mirror your phone to the TV and play them all. It's crazy.
They would think you're some sort of wizard or government agent.... they could steal the emulation box off you in the mid 90s but they would at least a bit confused about using it, especially if you have all games stored to a SD card and just subtley removed it 😂🤣😂
I got the 256 gig over a year ago, and it's far from perfect, but for what it's worth it's still a badass, love the hell out of it and still play to this day .
Yeah it definitely has its problems but it's faaar better than I expected. I haven't dug too deep into it yet but I'm hoping to spend so much more time with it during my vacation. Lol Also Thanks for dropping in David, I appreciate it man.
Sheeesh that's expensive. What's cool about this is that it has 3 versions of Sunset Riders. The SNES, Genesis, & Arcade versions. Plus a bunch of other Rare and Expensive titles to check out. Thanks for dropping in bro.
If you can get these consoles for less than $200, they are worth it. I wish they would stop including those cheap controllers since any XBOX 360 ore ONE controller can be used. The arcade game emulators like MAME are awesome because they allow everyone to play arcade games that were never to common even back in the popular days of arcades. IMO these old arcade games are works of art, programmers put their heart and soul into these games and it is an injustice to just allow these games to fall into obscurity, especially since the IP is no longer on the market in any capacity. Great review, genuine and honest.
Agree 100% my main interest for this console was be able to play Arcade and PS1 games. I've spent most of my time with this thing going through the Arcade Titles. Soooo many I never heard of and many others I hadn't played since middle school. There was a charm Arcade games had in the past that modern games lack amd like you said it was passion & a labor of love. That alone makes this worth it in my opinion. Yeah man there are quite a few games that don't play. Mostly from the N64 & Intellivision games. But overall the PS1, Dreamcast, PSP, DS games work just fine. Also thanks for dropping in dude, I appreciate it.

If your into just Dreamcast or some other system why not take a look at Techdweeb's and ETA Prime's tutorials on how to take a older PC (you can usually find a nice small form factor PC like the HP EliteDesk 705 G4 Desktop Mini for under a hundred bucks) then add a hard drive, then add either Batocera or Retrobat to run the games. Those are front ends for running the ROMS. Many people prefer Retrobat because it runs in Windows, Batocera is a Linux based system so you have to boot to that drive every time. It may sound daunting but it really isn't. Tons of tutorials here on TH-cam.

All these for 100 bucks is pretty good. Finding and downloading all these tittles, then putting in a playable interface takes much more than 100 bucks, assuming you even know what you are doing.
Yeah I thought so too. I have most of these games on my Laptop but don't have the knowledge to put em on a device. I have youtubed modding a Wii or Xbox but for the convenience plus my curiosity I thought $94 wasn't a bad price. Thanks for dropping in dude

I was surprised they included adult based games on here they have some pinball games and puzzle style ganes featuring nudity plus even though it's primitive and crude on the Atari 2600 it's has the adult games like custards revenge as well as the horror titles Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Yeah it was pretty wild there was a market for that thing in video games back then. Haha I also imagine the those 2 horror based games were extremely controversial because of the digital blood in Halloween.

Yeah I've been messing around with it for the past week and I have come across some issues with a couple of roms but I've been using TH-cam to learn about Retroarch so it's helped quite a bit. I think you can get $94 worth of fun & entertainment out of it. There are cheaper options for this model but with less memory which maybe means no Dreamcast or PSP games. @@brianthomason5022 very true the only way to ensure that is to order from a more recognised brand the 1st tv box I tried to use as an emulation box was a Droix x96 air which should of been fine but I think I didn't have the correct image of emuelec and I wasn't happy with the android box UI and because the model wasn't exact it ended up being soft bricked, so I bought a beelink GT-KING off of amazon for £120 checking the exact specs knowing there's some sort of quality control there 💯

This seems like a nice emulation machine. What a shame it doesn’t include skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast. You gotta wonder what this thing can handle though. Yeah I have an Anbernic handheld and I’ve had a lot of difficulties with it lately and I’m hesitant to show it in a video because I don’t want people to buy it and be like oh PK told me to get it and the thing is wonky . Lol I was actually planning on buying the Anbernic or PowKiddy to try out but I got a little hesitant based on the reviews. But I've still yet to try the other emulators on this systen so I don't know if the $96 I spent is justified.
It more than likely was how I recorded it. On my end it looked good. I'll try and post some Shorts or another video using OBS to get a better look at it.
Ok Aries--here's what I need to know. There's a 1000 of these videos out there right? But only ONE had indepth Intellivision reviews, where 90% wouldn't even start (No start button worked). I have to know more about Intellivision and Commodore 64? Then - PS1/P2 Gran Turismo versions, and how do they run- can they upscale to 4k? Can you verify/share etc? Pleeeeease. We wanna set this all up in our "Race Room" and don't want to waste money on this - my hobby is pricey enough
The Intellivision definitely has a hard time starting because of its unique controls. There is an option to pull up the key pad but it's very confusing and unfortunately some games do not start. The C64 Does work with some games using the Controller but I have seen some videos of folks plugging in Keyboards to play the C64 on an emulator. As for the Upscale to 4K I honestly couldn't tell you because all my TVs don't have 4K resolution. In all honesty if your specifically going to use this for the the Intellivision or C64 I'd suggest not picking this up because most of these Computer based games like Atari ST for example may require a Keyboard to play cause the controller absolutely does nothing. So I got this same one and it's great man. I mostly play arcade and Nintendo games Wich I never had any problems with. Mario party is always fun. I highly recommend. This unit is the bottom option but it's great and I would buy another upgraded one but not in a hurry to do so because this one does everything and has all the games I want to play. I mostly bought it for the PS1 and Arcade games but, I aint mad at having a whole library of Nintendo and Sega Games along with it. Lol. I remember playing Mario Party at my cousins house as a kid. They had 4 remotes so it was a full on match.
It does. It has Wrestlemania Arcade Game for Sega, Nintendo, & the Arcade Version WWF: Warzone Wrestlemania 2000 And so on. There's a bunch of wrestling titles on here
It sure is. When I play N64 games I usually use my Laptop and boot up Project64. I was using. But Dreamcast & Saturn games have been a. Nightmare to emulate. Lots of slow down
The console looks good so far! I might even snatch one. One emulator machine I do own is a Playstation Classic i modded myself using Bleemsync. Now I can snatch the whole ps1 library if I wanted. (Don't tell sony)

I'm having some wierd issues with this console, on Nintendo 64 in any racing game I have no steering, left/right and the joysticks work to navigate through the game menus but in actual game there is no left or right control, if anyone has any advice for a fix it would be much appreciated 😊
I was having the same issues myself. The Company even acknowledges this issue because it comes with a sheet that has directions on how to change the controls. I factory reset my console so I have to go and fix those controls again.

I would assume so. It's a 256gb memory card so there should be room. I'm not sure how well it would translate. The PSP emulator does run a bit slow so a ps3 might have some issues. Thanks for Watching 😀 I appreciate it.

@Deadmare that's a great price! Oh for sure dude, if you mainly want to use it for those type if games, then it's a definite pickup. Also the PS1 plays really well on the there as well. Like I said so far its been holding on and hasn't messed up on me yet.
I own this. Only paid like $40. Had to delete the PSP and supergrafix cores because of controller configuration problems on the PSP and performance issues in the supergrafix
Would you say the consoles like this they're all pretty much gonna have the same games when they say 100,000 games? I mean just pick the brand you want and it will have the same games as other consoles ? This looks pretty legit, I dig the old school graphics 😃 Also, will it allow to change buttons on certain games and still keep the regular place for other games?
Based off what I was researching prior to buying this console I would say they're all the same. Only difference would be in SD Card size cause they all have the same Emulators & Roms. I have yet to see one with PS2 or Xbox games. I can't be 100% sure but that's just based off of what I've seen. More than likely tho there are gonna be tons of duplicates for example this Console has 2 Sega Genesis Emulators. I'm 95% sure they have the same games in each library it was just a mistake on the manufacturer or something. I still haven't gotten a chance to dig through the whole thing and discover all the ins and out but I know your able to change the Button Layouts & Saturation, Color, Etc. Mid game by pushing the Mode button on the controller Which is simple. Also thanks for Watching Bro! I appreciate it
The super console x PC version has way more games including ps2 ps3 sega Saturn and actually can play them but the PC version is $500+ i so wish i could afford one of those bad boys my super console x only had 50,000 games and it was so awesome just had less games for ps1 and didn't have psp mini and a couple other systems im pretty sure they have almost the entire library's of the 8 and 16 bit consoles games i highly recommend any version of super console x you wont be disappointed if you buy it for the older systems
If you put the Daphne emulator on these systems and know where to look, you can put dragons lair 1, 2, and space on on there. Those are the arcade versions.
I believe you can. The Kinhank does have Bluetooth compatibility but ive been having issies trying to commect other controllers. you might have to purchase an 8bitdo Wirless Bluetooth Adapter to connect the ps3 controller.

It ls possible but the results may vary. It can possibly slow the game down or make it look more pixilated. I use its original format so I haven't changed anything.
@@BrainSlushTV Yeah, I got the Super Console Cube X3 just to play Mario Cart 64. Very disappointed. Video is good on that game but no matter how much I tweak the settings I can't get the audio to work right. The console works well with a lot of games. Some after some tweaking with the emulators and controls. Some I can't get to work at all. Over all I'm not going to return it.
How does Diddy Kong Racing work on your X3? Mine doesn't work at all. Lol It definitely takes a lot of tweaking to get it right but if your willing to put in the time it can be near perfect.
@@BrainSlushTV Worse than Mario Cart. With Mario Cart it was mostly audio glitches. (That seems to be the theme with a lot of N64 games) With Ditty Kong Racing it's the audio and framerate. It's all over the place and makes it unplayable.
Intellivision games should run good but they run horrible sound issues flickering screen on a lot of games intellivision games runs worse then the the N64 games

I got this and absolutely loved it but i accidentally went into controller configuration and proceeded to press the circle button to exit and ended up configuring every button to the circle button wich made the console unplayable and ruined. I almost cried but i bought another one and if you can believe it i fucked it up too. That warning sticker about unplugging controller while power is on no joke mine didn't have that warning on it and i did just that it corrupted the SD card and no longer works LOL i could fuck up a wet dream So now i am in need of yet another super console x and at around 100$ cant afford one but i miss it so much they are so fun and having all those retro games over all those old consoles is just amazing. I had to get a note pad to keep track of what i played and what i wanted to play also what save slots i saved games on. I almost filled a whole notebook. I also like the controllers and use one on my PS3 it works good in my opinion except for no motion control. I can't wait to get another super console x and i highly recommend it to anyone who likes old games hopefully i don't fuck it up for a third time ty for the review and i just wanted to add my experience with this product
Oh man that sucks. I was sooo close to making that same mistake with the controls that I just shut the system off and restarted. Lol That warning shouldn't even exist for something so minor. I don't think I've unplugged it since I've used it. Now I feel I gotta be ultra careful with the damn thing. Lol Dude my luck isn't any better at times. I put a cup of dry ass noodles in the microwave without the water and caused a mini fire.😂 so I feel you 100% But all in all the console is amazing I did run into some rom issues but I definitely got my money's worth in the end. It’s Definitely worth it!! I bought 3 of them and I just switched out those cheaper controllers with some heavy duty wireless Logitech controllers…. Some of The N64 Roms are glitchy and have horrible resolution but other than that is amazing.
I got this but my controllers don’t work they keep freezing when I’m trying to select a game. I have to keep turning it on and off and it’s unplayable. Anyone have any idea why this is happening ?
Oh man that sucks. I haven't experienced anything like that with my controllers. Have you tried using another type a USB Controller to see if the the ports or the controls themselves? Hopefully someone can give you a better answer cause I have zero skill on these issues.

@@MustafaAltun. hmm interesting. I wish I could help you. I'm still using the controllers that came with the console. I did try the Rock Candy Switch Controller and the games played fine with no delay.
@@BrainSlushTV I understand. Maybe it's because of the joysticks. Try playing Street Fighter, maybe you will notice. I bought and am using super console x nes. My score for the product is 8 out of 10. The reason is that it does not save some settings. And I suspect the delay.
Yeah I couldn't really reccomend this to anyone. I mean my experience with this console has been positive for the most part but I feel everyone is gonna have a different experience.

If your into just Dreamcast or some other system why not take a look at Techdweeb's and ETA Prime's tutorials on how to take a older PC (you can usually find a nice small form factor PC like the HP EliteDesk 705 G4 Desktop Mini for under a hundred bucks) then add a hard drive, then add either Batocera or Retrobat to run the games. Those are front ends for running the ROMS. Many people prefer Retrobat because it runs in Windows, Batocera is a Linux based system so you have to boot to that drive every time. It may sound daunting but it really isn't. Tons of tutorials here on TH-cam.

All these for 100 bucks is pretty good. Finding and downloading all these tittles, then putting in a playable interface takes much more than 100 bucks, assuming you even know what you are doing.
Yeah I thought so too. I have most of these games on my Laptop but don't have the knowledge to put em on a device. I have youtubed modding a Wii or Xbox but for the convenience plus my curiosity I thought $94 wasn't a bad price.

Yeah I've been messing around with it for the past week and I have come across some issues with a couple of roms but I've been using TH-cam to learn about Retroarch so it's helped quite a bit. I think you can get $94 worth of fun & entertainment out of it. There are cheaper options for this model but with less memory which maybe means no Dreamcast or PSP games.

@@brianthomason5022 very true the only way to ensure that is to order from a more recognised brand the 1st tv box I tried to use as an emulation box was a Droix x96 air which should of been fine but I think I didn't have the correct image of emuelec and I wasn't happy with the android box UI and because the model wasn't exact it ended up being soft bricked, so I bought a beelink GT-KING off of amazon for £120 checking the exact specs knowing there's some sort of quality control there 💯

Ok Aries--here's what I need to know. There's a 1000 of these videos out there right? But only ONE had indepth Intellivision reviews, where 90% wouldn't even start (No start button worked). I have to know more about Intellivision and Commodore 64? Then - PS1/P2 Gran Turismo versions, and how do they run- can they upscale to 4k? Can you verify/share etc? Pleeeeease. We wanna set this all up in our "Race Room" and don't want to waste money on this - my hobby is pricey enough
The Intellivision definitely has a hard time starting because of its unique controls. There is an option to pull up the key pad but it's very confusing and unfortunately some games do not start. The C64 Does work with some games using the Controller but I have seen some videos of folks plugging in Keyboards to play the C64 on an emulator.
As for the Upscale to 4K I honestly couldn't tell you because all my TVs don't have 4K resolution.
In all honesty if your specifically going to use this for the the Intellivision or C64 I'd suggest not picking this up because most of these Computer based games like Atari ST for example may require a Keyboard to play cause the controller absolutely does nothing.

So I got this same one and it's great man. I mostly play arcade and Nintendo games Wich I never had any problems with. Mario party is always fun. I highly recommend. This unit is the bottom option but it's great and I would buy another upgraded one but not in a hurry to do so because this one does everything and has all the games I want to play. Yeah man I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase. I mostly bought it for the PS1 and Arcade games but, I aint mad at having a whole library of Nintendo and Sega Games along with it. Lol. I remember playing Mario Party at my cousins house as a kid. They had 4 remotes so it was a full on match.

It sure is. When I play N64 games I usually use my Laptop and boot up Project64. I was using. But Dreamcast & Saturn games have been a. Nightmare to emulate. Lots of slow down

I'm having some wierd issues with this console, on Nintendo 64 in any racing game I have no steering, left/right and the joysticks work to navigate through the game menus but in actual game there is no left or right control, if anyone has any advice for a fix it would be much appreciated 😊
I was having the same issues myself. The Company even acknowledges this issue because it comes with a sheet that has directions on how to change the controls. I factory reset my console so I have to go and fix those controls again.

I would assume so. It's a 256gb memory card so there should be room. I'm not sure how well it would translate. The PSP emulator does run a bit slow so a ps3 might have some issues.

Based off what I was researching prior to buying this console I would say they're all the same. Only difference would be in SD Card size cause they all have the same Emulators & Roms. I have yet to see one with PS2 or Xbox games. I can't be 100% sure but that's just based off of what I've seen.
More than likely tho there are gonna be tons of duplicates for example this Console has 2 Sega Genesis Emulators. I'm 95% sure they have the same games in each library it was just a mistake on the manufacturer or something.
I still haven't gotten a chance to dig through the whole thing and discover all the ins and out but I know your able to change the Button Layouts & Saturation, Color, Etc. Mid game by pushing the Mode button on the controller Which is simple.

The super console x PC version has way more games including ps2 ps3 sega Saturn and actually can play them but the PC version is $500+ i so wish i could afford one of those bad boys my super console x only had 50,000 games and it was so awesome just had less games for ps1 and didn't have psp mini and a couple other systems im pretty sure they have almost the entire library's of the 8 and 16 bit consoles games i highly recommend any version of super console x you wont be disappointed if you buy it for the older systems

For sure this console doesn't have Dragons Lair but, Unfortunately I don't now which one these type of consoles do have it.
If you put the Daphne emulator on these systems and know where to look, you can put dragons lair 1, 2, and space on on there.
Those are the arcade versions.

I believe you can. The Kinhank does have Bluetooth compatibility but ive been having issies trying to commect other controllers. you might have to purchase an 8bitdo Wirless Bluetooth Adapter to connect the ps3 controller.

It ls possible but the results may vary. It can possibly slow the game down or make it look more pixilated.
I use its original format so I haven't changed anything.

@@BrainSlushTV Yeah, I got the Super Console Cube X3 just to play Mario Cart 64. Very disappointed. Video is good on that game but no matter how much I tweak the settings I can't get the audio to work right. The console works well with a lot of games. Some after some tweaking with the emulators and controls. Some I can't get to work at all. Over all I'm not going to return it.
How does Diddy Kong Racing work on your X3? Mine doesn't work at all. Lol
It definitely takes a lot of tweaking to get it right but if your willing to put in the time it can be near perfect.
@@BrainSlushTV Worse than Mario Cart. With Mario Cart it was mostly audio glitches. (That seems to be the theme with a lot of N64 games) With Ditty Kong Racing it's the audio and framerate. It's all over the place and makes it unplayable.
Intellivision games should run good but they run horrible sound issues flickering screen on a lot of games intellivision games runs worse then the the N64 games

I got this and absolutely loved it but i accidentally went into controller configuration and proceeded to press the circle button to exit and ended up configuring every button to the circle button wich made the console unplayable and ruined. I almost cried but i bought another one and if you can believe it i fucked it up too. That warning sticker about unplugging controller while power is on no joke mine didn't have that warning on it and i did just that it corrupted the SD card and no longer works LOL i could fuck up a wet dream
So now i am in need of yet another super console x and at around 100$ cant afford one but i miss it so much they are so fun and having all those retro games over all those old consoles is just amazing. I had to get a note pad to keep track of what i played and what i wanted to play also what save slots i saved games on. I almost filled a whole notebook. I also like the controllers and use one on my PS3 it works good in my opinion except for no motion control. I can't wait to get another super console x and i highly recommend it to anyone who likes old games hopefully i don't fuck it up for a third time ty for the review and i just wanted to add my experience with this product

It’s Definitely worth it!! I bought 3 of them and I just switched out those cheaper controllers with some heavy duty wireless Logitech controllers…. Some of The N64 Roms are glitchy and have horrible resolution but other than that is amazing.
Yeah after playing with it for a couple weeks there are some issue's here and there but, for the most part its worth the $94.

I got this but my controllers don’t work they keep freezing when I’m trying to select a game. I have to keep turning it on and off and it’s unplayable. Anyone have any idea why this is happening ?
Oh man that sucks. I haven't experienced anything like that with my controllers. Have you tried using another type a USB Controller to see if the the ports or the controls themselves? Hopefully someone can give you a better answer cause I have zero skill on these issues.
The console detects the remote 3 to 4 split seconds late. Is there any difference? This sucks for fighting games. Do you have any solution?
Honestly I hadn't noticed it. When I play games like Mega Man amd SMB3 it would be really noticeable but I hadn't experienced that issue.

The PSP works surprisingly better than I expected. It's not 100% it does have its slow down every once in a while but it plays well.
