    Just bought the polaroid 600 from the thrift store last week because it is still in a good condition and was sold only for 11$ because the uncle thought there is no one into polaroid these days and it is hard to buy the film. And here we gooooo, I madly in love with this polaroid project and massive thanks to those 3 who bring back the polaroid alive 😭

    absolutely love this video. I've been looking into getting a vintage restored Polaroid instead of the new onestep2 or the onestep+. this video really made me confident in my decision to get a vintage Polaroid

      you really dont need a "restored" one. go start hunting thrift stores, youll find one. and the most itll need is some cleaning up!

    I fell down the TH-cam rabbit hole and somehow ended up on this video... and I have to say I'm SO happy I did! I really liked how you explained everything, almost like a story. Learned something new about Polaroid Originals!

    I really gotta thank the impossible project. They gave me the ability to use my grandfather's old camera for a while with him before he passed away and gave me a tool in a new I type camera to make even more memories with!

    Thank you very much for the story. It is very interesting! I bought a Polaroid close up, I want to join the magic of strange photographs. After all, the more unusual the photo, the more interesting it is.

    That was a great overview of the history of Polaroid. 1 really hope impossible project is able to bring back pack film. 1 have a Polaroid Big Shot that 1 had just started playing with when fujifilm discontinued FP-100c!!!

    Just got my SX-70 Alpha 1 in today and whoooooo boy I'm excited to run some film though it. My grandfather used one a lot in my childhood, there's even an SX-70 sheet of me shoveling playboy sand into my mouth that lived proudly on the fridge for YEARS lmao

    Has no one ever found the exact way Polaroid made their film over the years they didn't manufacture it? A lot of people say the original Polaroid film was better before they ceased making them.

    What camera is recommended for someone who is just getting into polaroid cameras? Can you do a video on specific ones I should get? Love your videos btw, I can tell all the effort that goes into them and you deserve more views!

    • @elvisfan961
      @elvisfan961 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeram Hong If you are serious about photography and or simply like the feel of a quality camera, get an SX-70. If you are casual about your picture taking and just want to have fun with it, I would recommend getting a 600 Polaroid.

  • @mtalam777

    I have a Highlander roll film Polaroid camera (I believe it's called). Does anyone know if there is a compatible film still being produced??

    • @AnalogResurgence
      @AnalogResurgence  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately the instant roll-film that those cameras took hasn't been made since the 1990's! There's no modern equivalent available but there are places that will convert those cameras to take other kinds of non-instant film. Just search for Polaroid Land Camera conversion!
