excellent video thank you ! This was the first band I saw in concert . I was probably 13 and the ticket was around 5.00$ U.S. It was a great show and they announce Randy B. of the then future group B.T.O. was quitting the band that night . Excellent band .
This is great! I was at the game and it was friggin' cold (as you can see by Burton wearing gloves)! :-D Still looking for more footage of this game...
That game was a series of firsts for me because it was both my first Grey Cup game and my first time seeing The Guess Who live both in one shot.It doesn't get much more Canadiana than that!
This is so amazing. These guys are rocking out despite what looks to be freezing weather there by what everyone's wearing (in Calgary no less!)... Think that after this they played "Share the Land"
How frickin cold was it there? I can't imagine being able to play and play that well with that cold. Randy can't seem to feel his fingers but plays incredibly nonetheless.
I was there freezing my BALLZ off with my Dad but this was by far the BEST C.F.L half-time show in a while! The only one rivaling it was the Hip in '04-The need to put more into there productions (speaking about the C.B.C.)-It looks so cheap in comparisson to the N.F.L.'S Superbowl.....but who am I kidding?
Why this band is NOT in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame is beyond me!!
Because the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is run by pompous assholes who have no idea what the meaning of real rock is.
The first time I saw The Guess Who was in 1967 when they played a free concert at Meadowlark Shopping mall in Edmonton,Alberta!!!!
Saw them in "the Peg", when stationed in Grand Forks, ND. STILL not in the Hall of Shame!
That’s amazing
why on earth can't the super bowl have a GLORIOUS and simple rock and roll halftime like this???
Simply the best!! 🇨🇦
Best half-time band performance of all time ... classic
It would've been much better with a better sound system. I was there, was hard to hear clearly.
A quintessential classic rock concert! 😍🎸

Wow, did not notice that before - how talented do you have to be to play the piano in GLOVES?!
Great band, great city my wife is from there nice people all around, wish I could have made it there this year.

Same for me, I even got free tickets!

Timeless and still rockin! Get em In the Hall of Shame.
Good music and those who sing it - remain ! THANK GOODNESS ! -:)
You are loved
These versions of No Time & Bus Rider kick butt!
At 1:35 I think Randy said "I cant feel my hands"
The best line up!
Good Stuff.

It was a pre-recorded backing track.
It was cold I was consuming many hot tottys .
One thing that bothers me is that there have been years when acts were brought in from the States. We have more than enough good home grown talent.
I've got a great idea rock fans...How 'bout a Guess Who and Bachman Turner tour?!!!
Da be freezing DEM BONES fosure
Real music. Bachman turner half time Edmonton is up too
ah yes good old Calgyra
Lol. Burton Cummings is awesome. The Guess Who's drummers son was a junkie goof who overdosed in front of his kid.
mittens, yuk
Cummings is playing with gloves

JARRETTRYAN
This is so much better than any Superbowl halfime show I've seen!
ya the sound system was under powered.
