I was fortunate to see the Vermeers at the Frick several years ago but this exhibition would have been a lifetime dream - Master of Mood, Master of Lighting.
actually just the opposite. It only took a few minutes before the people in the front of the group left, allowing the people in the back to move forward. It didn't take long to get to the front. For such an iconic exhibit, it wasn't overcrowded and everything was evenly space. And if your time slot was near the end of the day, most people have left and there is literally no one there besides yourself. Amazing experience.

You could walk over the heads, almost impossible to see the paintings. A mockery.
