    Hey everyone! Re: the auto outfits in the OpenWardrobe app - if you don’t have the feature yet it will be rolled out to everyone with at least 30 items by the end of next week. The 30 items should belong to categories that will produce full outfits. For example, if someone has 50 tops and bottoms but no shoes, outfits will not be auto- generated. I hope this makes sense! So glad to hear so many of you are enjoying the app too 🤩 love, Signe xx

    I would love to see a mommy capsule. I've got two kids and I'm always struggeling making one capsule work with work in an office where the dresscode is more formal and the kids in the afternoons and I want to look and feel nice both times.

    I’m really enjoying the OpenWardrobe app. I like how it captures the item and gets rid of all the background without me having to cut it out (like some other apps!).

    Omg, yes please on the mommy/weekend capsule wardrobe video! I’m in desperate need of help. My bf commented yesterday that like 80% of my clothes are fancy, but I have hardly anything practical to wear on a daily basis with my son, which is so true.

  • @mariabarnes9197

    Those blues are fantastic on you! It's definitely true that they're a part of the colour palette that suits you!! It can be so easy to wear the types of outfits & colours that those around us are wearing. But the colours that highlight our skin & hair, & our eyes are the ones that are really best suited for us. Same for clothing that is geared for our body types. If only we could see ourselves sitting & moving in a 360° mirror-- which is the view others have of us....I wonder what changes we might be willing to make, or not make?

    I’m a winter, I had two consultants as gifts years ago. The past several years have been difficult to buy or replace older items because color trends have become so warm. A fall capsule wardrobe for cooler tones especially winters would be great. While winter colors are colorful I tend to stick to the basic colors. They’re even hard to find. I’ve searched high and low for winter greens, blues, berry colors, and burgundy. No luck

    • @UseLess_dk
      @UseLess_dk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I’ve actually planned on filming a video with classic autumn/winter colours very soon - I’m thinking I’ll present them in a way where some of them are perfect for people that suit warm colours best and the others for people who suit cooler colours better 😍 but yes you’re right, sometimes it can be a little tricky finding the exact colour you might be looking for! 🙏🏻

    Love the Open wardrobe app! Took a while to load everything in and from time to
    Time I find things I forgot to
    Load but it’s so much fun creating outfits. Like playing a game! Also if you shop online and have access to ur purchase history or know the style name of ur items it super easy to screen shot pics making loading the items easier and prettier than snapping a photo of ur own

    Hi , I absolutely love the OpenWardrobe app! Thank you very much for introducing it and for valuable tips. I just started with digitalization of my apparel items and honestly I am really shocked to see how much stuff I have😮. Very confronting , specially when you realize how much you spent on it and how little you do with it😵‍💫in any case fantastic tool to build your outfits and to give your old pieces a second chance .Saves a lot of time and most of all stops you from buying even more ! Thanks again 😊

    I have super-sensitive skin, too, even in 100% cashmere or merino, so I wear a silk knit, long-sleeved top under my sweaters, it solves the skin discomfort issue. Plus, when I overheat, as I always do, I can remove the sweater and still be fully dressed while I wait for the hot flash to recede, instead of having to hide in an airless restroom stall in my bra only. The silk tees also protect the sweater from perspiration, the dead skin cells that attract moths, and body oils, so they don’t have to be hand-washed as often (my “machine-wash” cashmere sweaters got ruined when I did this, even though I followed the care instructions exactly and used my barely-there, hand-wash cycle). Rayon knit is a good, breathable vegan alternative to silk. I just throw the silk tees in my cool, delicate wash after each wear and hang dry, super easy. I have some nude ones and some black ones to wear under light or dark sweaters, respectively, and they prevent skin or bra show-through, too.

    I'm neutral as well and I find that I prefer pale or rose gold more than very yellow gold on me. Watching this is making me realize how maximilast/large my wardrobe is--I can't imagine only having 5 sweaters. I have a lot of thinner sweaters and short sleeve sweaters because the weather is more temperate and they're better to wear to work. I have to wash those a bit more frequently than a larger sweater I can wear a t shirt under. I only have a few chunkier sweaters. I also really miss having a smart casual dress code for work--it made it so much easier to wear the same clothes on the weekend and look a bit more polished. My office is pretty formal so trying to balance practicality for the rest of my life while being at least business casual can be tougher.

    I just purchased a couple of pieces from your jewelry collection. I previously purchased a set from your stars collection and loved the jewelry. I have to admit I waited for 20% discount that was made available around the holidays last year. I appreciate the 20% discount that Is currently being offered. I don’t have Instagram so I was able to read why your collaboration is ending with still nest. Your jewelry collection is the only one I really like . It is a little high end price wise for me but also good quality.

    We’ve got another 8 weeks of hot weather to go to autumn weather. But, I’m so looking forward to seeing my autumn clothes again. It’s my favorite fashion season, too. I had already made a big investment of time and effort into the Stylebook wardrobe app, but then my wardrobe completely changed when I lost three sizes and I decided to change my style since I needed all-new clothes anyway. I felt I was too old for, or maybe just tired of, my Boho style and went back to my classic roots, now I love my wardrobe. I either need to update my Stylebook wardrobe or start over with a new app, because the bast majority of my new clothes aren’t in it. (I got carried away with putting in excessive detail, was unhappy with the terrible photos and just burned out). But, it’s a great convenience having everything in an app, after the initial work of inputting a large wardrobe. Does anyone know if the data can imported from Stylebook to Open Wardrobe?

      I’d recommend taking the photos of your clothes laid flat on the floor so you don’t have the hanger 😊 otherwise I find that finding the items on Google (or similar) is also an easy way to digitise your wardrobe 😊 hope that helps!

    What are the key differences between OW and Cladwell, if you or anyone else used to use that? I enjoy Cladwell but have to keep archiving clothes that aren't in that season which stops it counting how many times overall something has been worn (it just counts within the capsule you start afresh). Maybe I should've set it up differently I just never considered this 😂 also I'm a procrastinator and haven't managed to digitise my whole wardrobe, so wondered if OW search options are better because Cladwell is a bit limited (I've even taken photos of a quick stick person sketch that I've drawn to use if I'm not home and logging!). Another element is the cost I guess, if I haven't done the whole wardrobe then I'm only getting part of the functionality for about £5 a month which adds up. I wouldn't cancel it but I didn't manage to sort summer and then whoop here we go for autumn 😂🤷 but this has renewed my energy to catalogue this season's capsule, so thank you! And for any advice on the apps that people can give too ☺️

    • @UseLess_dk
      @UseLess_dk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t used Cladwell in a while so not sure if they have made some big changes since the last time I used it - they are similar so I think it’s also a matter of taste, and then of course the price too. 😁 I don’t recall Cladwell having professional stylists within the app, but again it’s been a long time since I used it so could be different today. But I also think the whole process of uploading your wardrobe is more smooth on OpenWardrobe it can remove the background and categorise automatically a lot of the time which is really cool and it makes the whole process so effortless and easy 🙌🏻

  • @kimberlyperrotis8962
    @kimberlyperrotis8962 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    After a really terrible wildfire season in 2017, I discovered that all my silver jewelry was very heavily tarnished, even though it was in cabinets and drawers. It took so much time and effort to polish it all back to a wearable condition, that I stored each item in a jewelry baggy with an anti-tarnish square. I rarely think to wear it now and have been giving a lot away. I found that I prefer yellow-toned metal, anyway, during the year that my silver was unwearable. I just wish gold was more affordable, fake gold pieces tarnish just as much as silver does. I wish I had invested in gold pieces when it was affordable and I had a good income, during my career, it’s difficult to save for it now, on a retirement budget.

      It depends! I don’t think you have to match the metals in your outfit all the way, so you could go either silver or gold I’d say 🥰 of course it creates coherence with your shoes if the jewelry is gold but again, I don’t think you have to match it all every time
