I worked at a pizza joint. One of the servers grabbed a pan that was fresh out of the oven and burned herself and screamed. Then she went back to do it again. I had to scream at her to stop her from burning herself again.

As a woman who was not taught of cooking, it’s unbelievable how things can happen in the kitchen with you alone.
I broke a glassware in microwave before, started small fire, mess all over, boiled macaroni shells in milk and it was disaster.

Those Wüsthof Knives they use in the show are good german spring steel chef knives, some of the sharpest among spring steel knives. But you won't believe what I've cut on accident with just a 90€ carbon steel knife, including an avocado and nearly my hand when i did my usual "slap the knife into the core and twist" spiel.
