It really is incredible! You guys did an awesome job with this! I can't imagine the amount of work that went into it but as mentioned it plays and looks like a real table. Thank you and the rest of the team for another stunning VPW release!
Thanks for the mention, matey! The Data East comment is still on the Discord, I just made sure it appeared after the video of gameplay I posted at the same time. (Not my gameplay though!) Haha. As soon as I saw a pic of the layout I thought "the lost game of Data East...!"
Grabbed last night and flipped a few flat games. This looks even better in VR. Another great table. If I recall in one of the preview streams, It was stated that it was intended to have the look/feel of a Data East machine.
Thanks for sharing in VR. What is your VR setup? And....do you still play with the Trioviz glasses? If so, how does this look with them? Keep bringing those VPW/VPX reviews. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on how the virtual tables play as compared to the physical version. Thanks again!
@jeffboy - I'm using a HP Reverb G2 for VR on a RTX3080 (with 12 gen intel cpu). I do still play using the Trioviz glasses. However VR wins hands-down for pure clean real 3d, however the Trioviz glasses are great for using with my pincab for more casual/social play. I'm not in 100% agreement with @kwistenbiebel200 recommendation in relation to the latest VPX. Yes, the latest VPX has native support, I've tested it with 3D anaglyph and it's good, although I slightly preferred reshade/superdepth still in my own comparisons. Anaglyph options in both are 'fake 3d' so not sure of his reference there. Both additionally have Side-by-side options for 3d tv's and shutter glasses but they have their own challenges depending on your setup. Personally, I think the Trioviz glasses option are still excellent with reshade/Superdepth3d and/or the native vpx settings in the latest version (I also tested using both to make use of VPX's easy saturation/brightness sliders) and that also worked. I'll look to do a follow-up video at some stage on this. Thanks for the suggestion on comparing virtual vs physical - it's always a good discussion! Cheers
Hey Kwisten can you please take a look at my reply to @jeffboy? Can you please expand on your thoughts as perhaps I've interpreted what you are saying or missing something altogether! I think both options are very similar but in my own testing I (at least currently) still prefer (only slightly) the reshade/superdepth3d option. Having said that, VPX is the fastest and easiest to setup between the two. Cheers mate! 👍
My recent testing (after my last video) was with the GL version Beta 7 and yes even though it works out of the box where the old one didn't, I still found reshade to be a (only slightly) better option. Both work fine. I can't recall if I used window mode for the POV. I'll need to take another look. The reason why I didn't release another follow-up video is I literally was testing both for several hours and was only seeing negligible differences and in some case reshade/depth3d edged ahead still (At least IMO). However ease of setup without a doubt VPXGL is a lot easier. So I think we are on the same page in terms of what each can do, but I wouldn't write off reshade as being an inferior option so to speak. I'll definitely do more testing (including a larger selection of tables) which may further refine my thoughts on both options! Thanks for getting back to me to provide your further insights/advice. Good for others reading here. Cheers!
@@SpaciesArcade Thank you both for the conversation and explanations! I will be trying hopefully in the near future as I just received my trioviz glasses the other day!
Very cool video. Thanks for showing it off. We did a lot of work to bring it to "life" and you showed it off nicely.

Yep! Would look completely at home in a line-up of Data East gems! You called it! 👍

AH right, well they definitely did pull off a Data East look...incredible table! 👍
I agree with Max!
