I remember seeing this game at Chuck E Cheese when I was like 8 and I was mind blown when I played. This game was my introduction to the Alien series, which is still one of my favorites many years later
That’s exactly how I was introduced to the series too. Later on I would play a lot of alien vs predator with my friends and it’s still one of my favorite sci fi series
@@ghostpinguin This game does run natively on Windows. The only issue is not only does trying to run it on modern systems provide some issues but the game itself writes into the boot sector. So the only way to play this game is to have a pc that you're not afraid to let this game take over, or you use a Virtual Machine. It is impressive to see though.

It's very awesome, too bad I can't play that game till the end anyways if I had an awesome pc or laptop I will download a emulator and play this game to the 4th mission this game is really well made for alien fans!

I like how they putted some android enemies. Seems like they knew it would be harder if there were enemies that shoot at you then enemies coming at you. This should’ve been Aliens Colonial Marines if you think about it

Had this arcade game back when I used to manage a small arcade at the local mall. Used to play it on my breaks. Opened up the front door and use the credit button. The guns would have simulated recoil when you fired it which was cool but we had to calibrate them most weeks due to kids swinging the gun around on its stand.
I think that is one of the best Alien shot'em up game EVER but it might get UPGRADED if a new version having AT LEAST 4 Players simultaneously will come out

Remember that the Xenomorphs don't actually have a CHOICE; there are two things driving a Xenomorph at any given time; self-defense (of the colony/eggs variety) and the Queen. The hive mind governing Xenomorphs is more tightly knit than even the Zerg, my mans. It's Obey or Die. Regarding the jumping/attachment of a vehicle at 60mph?? They didn't have a choice, nor were they allowed to think beyond the objective. They had to try, and try they did... 2. We were never given the facts beyond visual regarding a Xenomorph's skeleton and it's application to advanced physics. Granted, the Xenomorph may get most of its genetic code from its host, but remember how the Alien splices that genetic code, and takes what it has to; and beyond that, what it wants. Bottom line? We don't know the durability and strength of the Xenomorph anatomy; only that they take dozens of high-tech or well-placed shots to put down. Which is more than the average human can say for itself. Ridley Scott was never aiming for accuracy of realism... But plausibility. The plausibility and observation of Xenomorphs defying Newtonian physics is all you need... All you need to fear them, and all you need to react to.

omg i cant believe this game came out in 2006...the graphics are straight out of a playstation 2 and the cgi is 90s level. was this game held back for years or was the studio just really shit? crysis came out the year after this

Yeh mate, i installed DivX 6.2.2 in the (Windows Embedded POSReady 2009). Make sure to install it there and not on your actual OS. Once that is done the AVI error message is no more and it will just boot straight into the game. One thing i noticed is that some of the movie files were a bit out of sync. When I think of the 2000's I think of this game. I never actually played the game but I just remember watching everyone of my summer camp friends playing it at the the bowling ally arcade until they got to the end.

It's either Aliens: Armageddon or Alien Covenant. The only thing was that both games lacked the Pulse Rifle and instead went with a generic AR-15 style assault rifle as your standard weapon, but it was still a blast to play. Was a credit eater though!

So get this, I remember many years ago seeing a arcade machine that used a similar cabinet to Aliens extermination however it wasn't aliens at all. Instead it was a zombie game where zombies would be everywhere... literally. the one level I saw was just a big chainlink fence with thousands of zombies behind it, but zombies would pop up from behind objects and even the bottom of the screen for the player to shoot. It wasn't House of the dead for damn sure, way different actually. I can't have just imagined it but I can't remember the name.

el bastardo Arcade games in general don’t look particularly great, since they aren’t developed with the same focus and time as major game releases.

How do you exit the game back into the virtual box? The only way i've been able to get out of the game is to completely turn off the virtual box.
