Great audio and no wind problems either Great to see the headers out working again those flys would drive me crazy have to watch they don't get stuck to your blue nose😂
Hi from the UK its great to see a farmer just being able to get on and farm , unlike our UK farmers who are being shafted by our new communist government who have just stole 20% of our farms from the next generation of family farmers. I love Australia and worked there in the 70 s married an aussy , and am starting to think I should have stayed rather then come back to run our family farm. Just enjoy your freedom and keep up the good work . the audio is good as is the content and filming
Does the canola on the ground germinate next year? How do you recover from the storage bags? Really enjoy your content. Family owned a farm seventy years and emptied grain from the harvester into bags that had to be sewn up!
Yes it does germinate but thats what the summer rains are for to get it germinating and then we kill it. If you watch my videos from last year there is one called debagging starts, and there you will see how we get the grain back out for the bags
No problems with the new audio thingamajiggie - works just fine! I wonder if when you show us the result of the moisture test, could you stay focused on it a bit longer to gives us older, half-blind farts like me time to at least pause the vid for a sec? Otherwise, love your content mate - beats the stuff the yanks put up! Love that big fire truck too! 😁🚒
Great audio with the new mic, just be aware it's a bit directional sensitive, so if you point it away from the source it will have a hard time picking up the sound.
My guess would be that the cost of field bins in a bit cheaper than the equivalent mother bins required for storage plus field bins are lighter empty when moving so you don’t need a big tractor to move em
On a typical year our moisture fluctuates so much through out the day that we end up with wet and dry grain which we put into separate bins to make it easy to blend out. With a mother bin we can't make get our blend of the grain as its put in there just randomly so we never know what moisture the grain going into the truck would be
Gday Jh hope harvest is going well. And also just a quick question about movember if you are one of the last people to donate over 200 dollars can you still get a hat??
Only the first 45 people we get a hat as that's all I have to give unfortunately, I do still have movmeber merch, seeder terminator merch, 3/4 inch rattle gun and a water bottle to give away!
Watched a Canola harvest for a while out Wyalkatchem way a few years ago and got blown with the dust from the harvesters... wind was blowing straight towards me..... made me a bit itchy and the car was a mess inside... LoL... I love a country drive amongst the flowering canola... the smell is invigorating for me... although I understand many don't like it.... but I do. I can sit next to a flowering canola crop for hours taking the sight and smells in... plus the peace of the countryside. Thanks for sharing this...
May I ask... why the Kiwi white fern flag... I'm assuming your heritage is NZ and you support NZ sports teams...? Nice to see the Australia flag flown also, I mean this is West Australia ... Sandgroper Country.... you could also fly the W.A flag...?
We have the flags on the machines as the headers are the exact same and the chaser bins can't tell them apart from a distance. The flags make it really easy for them to see who is who. The NZ flag is because Henry is a kiwi, the Aussie flag is just there till the Kiwi flag arrives as Annabelle is also a kiwi
A good cartage contractor is very underrated
Cheers

Such a peaceful and rewarding way to spend the day.
Thank you for shortening up the Movember information on this video so that there is more farm content.
No substitute for experience in this case with a driver. One less thing ya gotta worry about😉
Good on ya’s

Audio is good so far. Nice drone shots! Hi from Wisconsin, USA.
I find myself swiping at the flies on the screen! Lifetime habit I suppose.

Go Blue!
Why do you not use a motherbin instead of using heaps of field bins. Love the videos

Flys...
when you're outside they are all over you....
when you step in the truck or car, they are all over the windscreen trying to get out....!
Yer they are sooooooo bad this year!

Blue Monday
Who's winning? The all blacks or the skips?
Whats up with the blue?
The blue hair? It’s the incentive to get people to donate so I have to dye it. It’s also the national colour for prostate cancer
@tomsbrookfarm nah i meant the nose and lower lip, does it have to do with sun?
What does each bag cost?
About $1000
Does china still buy conola from australia
May I ask... why the Kiwi white fern flag... I'm assuming your heritage is NZ and you support NZ sports teams...?

Hard to to contribute to movember. Their admin fees are crazy. We dumped them two years ago. Really top heavy. Plus blue lips. No thanks
