GG1000, GN1000, GA1000, or GA1100? I need one that you can operate the buttons silently (it doesn't make a beep sound). It needs to have a legible stopwatch and have an easy analog face to read. Which one would you guys pick? And why.
1. You could 'mute' the button operations in every one of those model.. also in almost every G-Shock. They all can work silently. 2. All of the model above has good analog but just decent digital display. 3. Most legible ones are those dotted type of display. Which is GN-1000 & GA-1100. GG1000 & GA1000 sensor works using digital display mostly which could be inconvenience since the display aren't as good especially in negative. GN1000 & GA1100 works mostly on analog. The subdial is much more visible and easier to understand. GN-1000 subdial are for mode indicator, tide display and bearing memory in compass mode GA-1100 subdial are mode indicator & dual time. Summary, GN-1000 will offers more features compared to the rest. Simple way to pick.. If you prefers tide data, GN-1000 If you prefers dual time, GA-1100 If you prefers mud-resist, GG-1000 or by ranking.. GN1000 > GA1100 > GG1000 > GA1000
