    Transcript:
If you find that a colleague has made false or malicious allegations about you at work it can be a very stressful time, so the first thing to do is work out exactly what’s been said and get full details of what’s happened so that you can start preparing your response and your defence to those complaints.
At this point if it’s very obviously false or very obviously malicious in terms of significant inconsistencies in something that’s happened at work it’s really important to check if there are other people that can verify what your position is and what your story is compared to your colleague’s.
At that point you may wish to raise a grievance yourself against that colleague for the way they are treating you and the way that they’re making false allegations about you. You might want to consider raising a grievance against your employer if you feel the way that they’ve handled the grievance against you is unfair or unreasonable or if you’ve actually got any concerns about any particular discriminatory treatment of you and any suspicious underlying reasons about the grievance being brought against you in the first place. At that point you can raise your own grievance both against the individual and also against your employer.

People already know this...however nothing ever gets resolved. Your told to go back to work as "matter is closed" . You cannot argue defamation at ET only bullying and harassment. If argued in civil court it is more expensive with legal fees irrespective to winning or losing. Regardless cases get released online for all nosey parkers to view and confidentiality is breached, worse when the case is bodged. If you continue working bad atmosphere remains. A law needs to be introduced to protect employees from defamation at work, if not only option left is to leave. Very bad system currently considering defamation was classed criminal act up until 2009. The only solution to preserve job is to be a robot at work due to potential unpredictable behaviour by colleagues...sad but true. Legal system needs to wake up to this...fast

10 years ago, 3 years ago, and recently, being bullied and forced out of my job I love. The types of tactics these colleagues operate are becoming more bold and openly sparked hostility. Constantly scolded and shouted at Infront colleagues. I felt my manager had opened an invitation for my colleagues to start a long line of abuse on my life and subsequently, my health. These criminal activities that people are using to gain rev
My experience, where colleagues were brushing past, elbowed me a couple of times, taking it in turns, then sparking a hostile situation, then reported me for something they've done. As I write these words to date, my health had been damaged to the extent that it became a lifetime illness.

I have been there, I have gone through it and I lucked out when I look back. Pence Rule ever since. It's not only prudent, it's safe. At work it's all business and I don't talk any more than what's needed and whatever extra we talk is only with a specific number of male coworkers whom I happen to know for a good amount of time.

I have recently been falsely accused by my coworker of calling my supervisor a racist.. She alleges I made these comments to her in which we were having a conversation about different things that was going on in the workplace. Because of the heightened climate with racism in this country I feel that she is maliciously trying to cause dissention, panic, incite racial tention in the workplace. What can I do if it was just the coworker and myself in the room at the time? How can I prove that it was said by the coworker and not me. It's her work against mine.
