Because it’s the first one to be an actual show. I loved it. I think they expected too much from this show. It acted exactly like a show. The characters dying were tied into the mechanic of the show. Like horror. Most horror films you don’t care about half the characters because they’re set to die. So if you know that going in you can enjoy them for the time they have. So personally I thought it worked. Plus it wasn’t a movie split up it was a tv show.

Everything said about the priates franchise is 100% true. The ships fighting at the end of "At Worlds End" is PEAK lol. The fighting and action is straight up a 10/10.

Did you guys notice when Oz is in the courtroom there are drapes in the back that make the background look like owls hinting at the court of owls. And I know the court of owls has been rumored to be the villain that the Batman trilogy is building towards
Pirate's take is valid after the first 3 movies. They are peak and build up the mysteries of the sea with living legends. On Stranger tides was a bit bland but DMTNT was decent. I personally would love another movie, with Johnny of course.

Then we see Nicky crying in the woods when they meet that first coven where Agatha kills them all and Nicky stops crying. Its doing a pretty good job at showing that Nickys borrowed time is based on the lived Agatha's taking as a trade. Thats why the first night that Nicky refuses to kill the next coven is the night Death takes him.

Matt truly cooked with a character like the penguin

For clay face you make him the way he was during the golden age of comics where he’s just a normal guy who’s able to sort of morph his face/wear a mask of different people‘s faces like they did in the caped Crusader show on Amazon. And then for Mr. freeze, I don’t know how you make his skin blue but for his freeze gun instead of making it an actual freeze gun, you make it a gun that shoots liquid nitrogen
How did you guys not care about the deaths in Agatha All Along??? Alice had to live with a generational curse her whole life, found out her mom was trying to protect her this whole time and finally got it taken away-- allowing her to start her life anew and had it ALL taken away when she died. Lilia had to die because it was her life's purpose/fate-- she discovered her value again as a witch and used it to help her newfound friends. Even Sharon dying was sad because she was an innocent bystander that got wrapped into all of this-- and her death represents that no matter how hard Billy tries, being a witch will inevitably hurt others (just like his mom and Agatha hence "If you want to survive get used to this feeling"). The reason they don't feel like friends is because they're witches (infamous for only caring about themselves) which gives space for character development: Lilia inspires Jen to have more empathy on ep 7, Lilia realized the coven is what helped her fine her power & purpose, Alice tries to save Agatha since Agatha helped her break the curse, and Agatha uses the coven's magic to help her fight Death (healing potion, protection spell, hit the deck from Lilia). Also Agatha was about to leave Billy to be taken by Death. The writers did that to me less cliche and deviate from the normal villain-turned-good plot by showing Agatha will always have evil in her and selfishness like most witches. Her kissing death and sacrificing herself shows just how much on an impact Billy had on her as he was able to make the most devious witch save someone she cares about. This show has sooooo many hidden messages and intertwined storylines that are hard to see at first glance. One thing I do agree with is that Death and Agatha's relationship should have been given more of a backstory and there's no reasoning for every single witch to attack Agatha after singing the ballad
I get it bud but the characters were barely worked on , they were introduced in terrible ways and died and they passed right over their deaths instantly.
@@Hysetzzz I’d relate the deaths of Lilia and Alice to black panthers dad. We only get one movie with him, but it’s still a tragic death and it’s sad if you have any type of empathy. Idk a girl that’s spent her whole life without her mother, thinking her mom was crazy, finding out she was trying to protect her from a curse, breaking that curse for generations, and dying right before she got a chance to turn her life around is pretty sad and tragic to me regardless of how much screen time she had
