I love your whole attitude when you rank. So many enthusiasts seem to rag on certain rides in an attempt to show how discerning and knowledgeable they are. You have a thorough yet positive perspective. I hope you keep that.
Thanks so much! Yeah I try to be optimistic and positive when it comes to talking about coasters, so I'll do my best to keep that attitude in the future!
I love this video. Not just crapping on the old arrows and saying the usual rough bad transitions blah blah blah. Plus the higher ranking of Gemini was a shock to me cus I usually see sometimes wicked twister higher then that. Great video
hey man just wanted to say you describing your experience with millennium force and watching povs while scared to actually riding them really gave me a lot of hope and courage to conquer some rides ive been chickening out on, thanks a lot man love the vids
Cedar Point is such a good park! My list is really close to yours! I’m still trying to sort things out from my most recent visit because there’s so many great rides! Awesome video!
We are fortunate enough to live 40 minutes from kings island, so my family gets season passes every year...but cedar point is another level of fun! I agree fully with your list!
Thanks so much for the support! Very glad you enjoyed, and honestly that's the first time I've heard a Vince Vaughn comparison but I'm honored lol thank you!
Very interesting video nice to hear your ranking of the cedar point rollercoasters. One thing though is that you might regret riding magnum in the magic seat. I rode in the magic seat 3 times and it was extremely painful on the last airtime hills and it wasn't really fun at all. I switched to riding in the front row and now I get almost no pain at all. I'm not sure if it's just me but I definitely think the magic seat is the worst row to ride In.
Row 3 is where it's at on Magnum, mostly for the return run. I've gotten to ride Magnum 17(!) times this season, all but 3 were in the magic seat. Be prepared to lose a 👕 or your glasses or a phone or your keys. It's still my favorite at Cedar Point, despite SteVe and Maverick being there. It's the only coaster I've ridden more than 5 or 6 tes this season
Ah the magic seat, yeah I haven't had the pleasure yet. Magnum was the only coaster closed the last time we went back in June. But yeah the positive opinion of Magnum seems to keep growing so I definitely gotta get back on it.
@@CoasterJawn I'm sad I missed you @ Keys to the Kingdom 2, I was at the front when the storm came. Also what is the best row on El Toro? I hear the back is legendary. Planning on making the trip out there in the spring assuming it's fixed...
Great review, but I don't think Magnum XL200 deserves such a high-ranking. It was very painful. How has no one gotten injured on this ride. I was wondering why the line for this ride is was so short.
Honestly a great point, I also found it kinda painful, but a lot of people actually think this is one of, if not the best ride in the park, so I had to factor that in as well.
My List *RIP TOP THRILL DRAGSTER* 16 Wilderness Run 15 Woodstock Express 14 Cedar Creek Mine Ride 13 Corkscrew 12 Iron Dragon 11 Wild Mouse 10 Blue Streak 9 Valravn 8 Gemini 7 Rougarou 6 Gatekeeper 5 Raptor 4 Magnum XL 200 Then Everyone Has The Same Top 3 As Me 3 Millennium Force 2 Maverick 1 Steel Vengeance
Which coaster has the longest weekday lines and should be ridden first before everyone is there? I know there are line strategy guides for Disney World but do they make em for places like Cedar Point as well?
Great question! Yeah I'm pretty sure there are videos out there for that type of thing, but I think the rides that get the longest lines early in the day are the ones near the front of the park (Gatekeeper, Raptor, Valravn) but also even more so the top coasters in the park (Steel Vengeance, Maverick, Millennium Force, Dragster) all also get bad lines early. Personally every time I've gone to CP I book it to Steel Vengeance, but that may not be the best strategy lol.
Man, I realized that I actually love roller coasters but do you have any tips on getting over the fear of huge gigantic ones like giga coasters and the damn KINGDAKA.
Good for you my man! Tbh I had this exact same issue also with Kingda Ka. Great Adventure was my home park all throughout my childhood yet I was never able to muster up enough courage to ride until until I was 20 years old in 2019 I rode it for the first time. I think the more that you get into roller coasters like I was at the time, the more you're motivated to ride everything no matter how scary. I eventually I asked myself, am I really a true enthusiast if I haven't even ridden the tallest coaster in the world at my home park? So that worked as motivation for myself, maybe you can try asking yourself the same question! Whether you work up the courage or not doesn't really matter, but that's just what worked for me. I hope that helped!
@@CoasterJawn Thanks man, don’t know if you’ve been to Kings Island in Ohio but it’s my home park. I’m gonna go and ride the gigacoaster and diamondback.
Personally I have Steel Force ranked a little bit higher than Magnum, mostly bc I've gotten significantly more rides on it, while I've only ridden Magnum once. I really need to try Magnum more times before I can truly say whether or not its better than Steel Force.
@@CoasterJawn I agree personally I prefer the floater airtime and smoother ride of Steel Force. I rode Magnum XL 3 times a few weeks ago. Back, middle, and Magic seat. I enjoyed the ejector airtime but man did it hurt. I was just curious your opinion because Steel Force gets so much hate while Magnum XL gets so much love and I just didn’t see why.
Anyone else find it funny how Iron Gwazi took Steel Vengeance's elements and said, I'll just BARELY top it. Steel Vengeance got 205 ft? Nah, we got 206 ft. They have a 90° angle? Nah, we'll make it 91°. Cedar Point has 74mph? How about 76mph?
King da KA looks better. It looks like it has a more powerful launch and it really doesn’t have a warning it also has a longer launch track. I will find out next year. I personally don’t have Maverick in the top 5 at cedar point I don’t understand the hype for that ride. It’s honestly not much better than Raptor.
Idk about that lol, even though Kingda Ka doesn't have the ready set go lights that TTD has, you can still tell that you're about to launch based on the hydraulic fins going down and the train locking into the catch car. It's longer launch track is also what contributes to making it more painful. TTD Is overall just a lot smoother and the lap bars make all the difference. But no love for Maverick?!? Come on! Makes my heart hurt :( Thanks for engaging with the video though!!!
@@CoasterJawn I just wasn’t impressed with Maverick it’s a good support coaster at best that I’d love to have at kings island but people that say it’s better than Millennium Fury, SV or intimidator 305 just confuse me. It’s honestly not even top 5 cedar point. With King Da KA I know you can kind of tell but the fact that everything else is quite is scary plus at night the tower isn’t lit by anything but the air craft lights it just looks more thrilling I’ll find out myself next year
Dude raptor is nothing like the batman clones alp is just tall...montu is too short. Raptor and banshee are better... look at the layouts.. the batman clones are nothing like raptor 🤡
My comp to the batman clones was mostly due to when they were built. Raptor rides like a longer version of a batman imo and feels similar. I'm not alone in ranking alpie and Montu very highly, I like Banshee as well, too many good inverts they're hard to rank.
I love your whole attitude when you rank.

I’d love to live in Ohio! Having access to cedar point AND kings island is such a blessing
Great job with this, and A+ cutaway game
Lmao thanks Chris!
Hoping to finally visit cedar point sometime next year. The line up looks incredible.
Great job on the video!
Oh you gotta get out there, its a legendary park, and thank you!
Great video. I hope i can ride steve this fall! My favorite coaster is Maverick!
Thanks! Maverick is incredible, but Steve is everything.
im gonna make you ride Magnum until its your #1 of all time, thanks for using my footage!
Haha sounds good, I gotta get back on it, I've heard such good things.
I got to ride Iron Dragon with VR which completely changed my outlook on it! I wish they implemented it long term
Dang that sounds pretty cool, unfortunately VR drastically reduces dispatch times which is probably why they got rid of it.
Great list! I agree on the top 4, but differ on some of the others.
Oh I'm sure lots of people's lists vary, its hard for everyone to agree on an entire 17 coasters.
I love this vid; I am Roller Coaster obsessed- thanks so much......btw, has anyone ever told you your voice sounds like Vince Vaughn?!

I’m a dad in my mid 40’s and I could ride steel vengeance all day every day!! It’s butter smooth and super intense. Love it
Couldn't agree more! Steel Vengeance is the GOAT.
1. Steel vengeance 2. Maverick 3. Millennium force 4. Raptor 5. Tt2 6. Gatekeeper 7. Valravn 8. Blue streak 9. Rougarou 10. Iron dragon 11. Wild mouse 12. Cedar creek mine ride 13. Gemini 14. Magnum 15. Corkscrew

Have you done a carowinds ranked if you haven’t you should go I really like carowinds and I would like you’re opinion

You were right on the top 3, but TTD is overrated and it has issue after issue doesn't deserve #4. Just my opinion though.
