the sound design in this game is absolutely phenomenal…
i mean the environment and the world settings are itself eerie to begin with but the sounds really added much more realistic feel to it.
for example, at 15:36…you can hear a cry/roar from an unknown animal or an entity and that fading into the environment sound i.e, thunder/lightning was so well done.

In terms of environment the devs have done a really great job. If they worked on the jump scares i think it would have been perfect.
@@undefined_sadhu i do kind of agree with you on that but these jump-scares do work well on most of the western country players/streamers for all the right reasons.
If we come to our man BBS, he got so used to horror games by playing them since the very beginning that these jump-scares from recent popular horror games are like coughing baby to him and only hydrogen bomb level horror games/jump-scares would work on him.

Yes, obviously developers can push the game's horror factor to it's limit, but the problem is that they have to keep that horror to a such level that the player can resist/play or maybe enjoy. Too much horror will discourage other people to buy the game as they would be so terrified to play it. Therefore, they make it horrifying but according to human capacity. Otherwise, you can also kill a person with that lmao

@@youtubejerify715 yes u r right, but I pretty sure these type of games dnt have difficulty, they start with the difficulty that the dev has set and imo difficulties should not exist, the game should be balanced itself, there is more fun in that. And am sure that devs of this game won't add anything major to it instead of fixing bugs and mic calibration. People like BBS who have played so many horror games do not get scared by these games as they are used to it.... It's mostly for his viewers

Honestly, I agree that developers could've pushed the horror factors a little more here. The last few jumpscares were legitimately good though. In my opinion, the kind of random ass jumpscare they added was not it, like it was not resonating with the current going on location. In that barn or whatnot, like you said they could've added something with the astronaut or the hanging bodies, the lady on our face and spiders were pretty random. They could've connected the locations with the type of jumpscare. And the main thing that turned me off was this had same repeated jumpscares, like bro add some more jumpscares with lore and everything. Maybe do a lil storyline, let us know what is the scenario, why and how are we here.
They could've done random creepy thing creeping on us in the woods, maybe a lil chase scene. Should've added things like we normally wouldn't notice but if we do that would be skin crawling scary as an epitome of mortuary assistant, remember that scene? Where a clone of sumn was creeping on bbs and he didn't even notice; things like that. But okay graphics and environment was so fking cool.
