Don't use an adapter. Just buy a usb-c flash drive
Some type C flash drive does not work on the iPhone 15. There’s a software that needs to be added on the flash drive for you to use it.

@KrisWayans I got mine from Amazon in the UK. If you copy and paste the drive I listed in Google, you will see the choices whatever country you are in. These are very fast too

I am using c type USB 256 gb sandisk
But when i am trying to save files to USB the save button which appears on top left seems disabled.

If you transfer mp3 files, do they go into iTunes (obviously I’m asking in regards to an iPhone) or do I need to listed to the transferred mp3 files with an app?

This is great but what if you need to transfer thousands of images and videos? This way would take forever... I cant find a way to select 'all' photos and doing one at a time would take way too long... Anyone know a workaround? Thx

Is the usb type c flash drive able to support immediate data transferring? So for example i were to record video does it able to record the video directly to the flash drive?
Yes
The drive has to be formatted as ExFAT and it has to be fast. Additional, direct to flash drive only works shooting in ProRes. I've got one of the SanDisk shown (but not used) in the video and it works, but it takes a few seconds after you stop to finish writing. I'm not sure it's fast enough for long continuous recording.

Yes you could do that with any of the SAMSUNG GALAXY S FAMILY if you don’t want a Samsung phone you could check a phone that supports OTG that’s what you will be looking for

Yes it does! I usually use VLC app for my music or videos if I can't open them otherwise.

It will work but you need to buy the official Apple adapter for lining the adapter is a USB eight and lining port. You will have to plug in the USB and also plug in the power cable and then plug the adapter to the phone and then you just go to Files and it will appear.
any idea how to see the photos copied onto the iPhone in the photos app? i copy pasted the folders from the USB drive to 'On My iPhone' but still can't see in the photos app

@@nqqssb in your files app, you’ll need to select all the pictures that you want to see in the photos app, then click on share button and select ‘Save Images’ option. They then show up in Photos library. You’ll have to then manually create a new album and add desired photos to that. This is the only solution and way I’ve found for transferring pictures from usb drive or other sources. Else i guess you have to use the sync folders option when connecting with a Mac, haven’t tried that yet
