So glad you posted this I've been collecting Japanese anime on Blu Ray and how can you not own one of the greatest American anime shows so I found on Amazon but the photos doesn't show region or in description this confirms it does work in US! Earned a sub and like for this thanks. Im glad they did skinny down the packaging and put nice Detail on the discs. Appreciate the review!
I'm gonna order this! (I have the original seasons 1-5 pt. 1 on DVD) And I never had 5 pt. 2 and 6-10 so I'll have the remaining 4 and a half seasons to finally watch hehe!!
Hmmm seems like you have gotten the 12 disc version. It kinda sucks that I didn't get a chance to get the 13 disc Blu Ray version because they're rare now and I can't find but at least I got the The Complete Collection DVD with the Enchiridion cover.
Yeah, I wish I was able to get the bonus disc. But to be honest, I much prefer the slim case version because the other one is too big. I wish the bonus disc could have been purchased as an addon
@@EntertainmentKorner Yeah... By the way, have you heard of the new Fionna and Cake show? I know they just started releasing episodes but I hope they release a DVD or Blu ray version soon.
globdamn so like I used to watch the heck out of the AT dvds and I wanna complete set because I never finished the show. BUT I always loved the cool boxes which the DVD set seems to have the coolest of which, but now thanks to your video I can see that while the box is much less cool, it has the original disc designs!! Ultimately I'm thinking I'll opt for the DVD set cuz that's what I used to watch on anyway but you just cant win man
Hi I recently bought this, and found that the disks for season 5 and 6 doesn't play, due to the lack of options in their title screen. All the others work fine though. Have you come across this problem as well, or if this is an isolated case? I'm located in New Zealand and bought this from a New Zealand website, if this information matters.
I have not ran into this no. What do you mean by lack of options in the title screen? If at all possible I would try to return and get a new copy, if it's past the warranty I really don't know what to say other than I have sympathy :/
@@ParanormalMetalMan Not that bad. Only $10 a season. If you can find the 13 disc version that will have the diamonds and lemons special but it's hard to find.
How much did it cost you and where did you buy it? The reason I ask is because Amazon is selling three versions of this, the first one being $69( looks exactly like the one you have), another one that also looks like the one you have but costs $115 (wierd), and the fat one that costs $150. Which one should I get? Do you know what exactly are the bonus features that comes with the fat one (and if its worth it) because $150 sure is alot of money just for one extra disk lol😆. (Also a bunch of Amazon reviewers say that the 2 case doesn't work on American bluray players so I'm confused qnd worried on why they say that. In fact the box set that costs $69 says in the description that it will not play on North American players, but the other versions don't so I don't known whether to get that one or the other more expensive ones to be safe.)
Go ahead and purchase the $69 dollar one on Amazon, that's the one I got except it was a few dollars more before. That one will be the exact same one I have in the video. It is missing the special features disc but for me, it's not a huge deal, it only has the Diamonds and Lemonds special and a few other things I can't remember. However, the rest of the regular special features are on their respective season discs. And like I said in my video quite a few times, I've tried the set in 3 North American or Region 1 Blu-Ray players and every disc has worked fine, no problems.
@@EntertainmentKorner Thank you so much my friend! I've been debating on whether or not to get the Adventure Time Collection for over a year because it was very expensive. Thank you for having the courtesy and respect for replying. Also amazing video, it is very informative and helpful.

Nice! I'm doing the same as AT is super hard to watch in Canada.

Fair enough, still recommend upgrading someday. AT looks fantastic in HD.
@@EntertainmentKorner fair too but I just remembered I also chose DVD because it was $60 vs like $100 bluray i think idk USA Amazon in CAD is a trip

Thanks for watching! According to the back of the slipcase, there are no subtitles, unfortunately.

Have you checked if its uncut?
As far as I am aware it's not censored or missing anything. (edit: other than Diamonds and Lemons.)
Better quality than the DVD version?
Yes. That's how most Blu-Rays work. Every episode is in 1080p (or Full HD). Whereas the DVD versions are 480p (or Standard Definition).
@@EntertainmentKorner dope. I got the DVD version but I'm looking into getting the Blu Ray version so my Xbox can play it

No digital? Lame. I like to continue watching shows on my phone on my lunch at work
Why would you buy the Blu-Ray if you wanted it digitally? You can buy all the episodes in HD on iTunes.
