God's Israel (people) is now the international multi-ethnic Church and is no longer the collective number of biological Jews, or the geographical space in the Middle East that they occupied for 1,500 years. 1) The Olive Tree is Israel and Judah (Jeremiah 11:16-17), therefore we are grafted into Israel and Judah, and unbelieving natural branches are cut off Israel. 2) Us biological Gentiles were cut of from Israel and were considered foreigners (Ephesians 2:11-12), but now we are now no longer foreigners and strangers but fellow-citizens of God's Israel (Ephesians 2:19). 3) The New Covenant is made with Israel and Judah, but it is the international multi-ethnic Church community that takes the emblems of the New Covenant (Communion) as it is us who are under the New Covenant, therefore we are New Covenant Israel and Judah. 4) Jews are inward now (spiritual Jews) not outward anymore (Romans 2:28-29). 5) The New Jerusalem is called the Bride of Christ (Revelation 21:1-2), if the bride of Christ (Church) is called "Jerusalem" that makes us "spiritual Israel". What's more Jewish than being called by the Holy Spirit "New Jerusalem". 5) We (the international multi-ethnic Church) are now the "temple of God". Only Jews could enter the temple, therefore we are spiritual Israel. 6) Not all Israel are Israel (Romans 9:6), which means that only the believing remnant of natural Jews remained in God's Israel after the Changeover of Covenants, and then us believing Gentiles are "coming in" to Israel which is the Olive Tree (Romans 11:26). 7) Israel's husband was murdered. Therefore death puts an end to a marriage. Therefore the Old Covenant marriage contract is void (Hebrews 8:13). But through the cross, Jesus married Israel and Judah again through the New Covenant marriage contract (Romans 7:1-7). But New Covenant means a New Israel and Judah (the international multi-ethnic Church).

"Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile." I was taught to thank GOD for HIS covenant with the Jewish people because it is through that love covenant we gentiles have been given the opportunity to become a member of the blood covenant with CHRIST! Hallelujah! I'm grafted in!

This is so timely. I had never heard the term until recently, and was astonished that many Christians believe it. Just this morning, I laughed out loud when someone "corrected" me when I said that Jesus is (present tense) a Jew and and will usher many of His brethren into the millennial Jerusalem. God never changes His mind, and always keeps His promises. His covenant with His people Israel remains in effect. We gentiles of the New Covenant have been grafted on. We, however few or many we are, will join as one in the Body of Christ. Thrilling.

Its not a coincidence that it is "timely." With criticism of Israel sky rocketing, more and more pastors are correctly teaching their flock that the church is the new Israel. As the New Testament says, the true children of Abraham are those who have faith.

So replacement theology is still prevalent in christian thinking judging by this reply. No its important to remember that Yeshua came as a jew, until He says the "Church" has become the new Israel, we can be sure that it is very erroneous to believe this. The Word of God must be the ONLY source that we must believe, not man no matter how plausible they may sound.

"how could anyone believe that?" How did Christians "believe that" for two millennia before the 1840s when your heretical christian zionism doctrine was introduced by John Nelson Darby (founder of the cult-like Plymouth Brethren) and later popularized by Cyrus Schofield - a convicted racketeer, shyster, and a fraud who was financed by secular European (white) Jewish zionists?

God has never left Israel even when His people rejected Jesus and now we are witnessing Holy spirit returning to Israel! Praise God! I thank Israel because every word of the bible was written by Jews and Jesus Himself came as a Jew. Through Israel, God had a special plan to save the whole nation, and it is coming to completion! I pray that I am going to be a generation that witnesses the coming of Jesus!

To Feechlamana, the Jewish people are the people of the Book. Ask God to show you the truth and then read the scriptures for yourself. You're blinded because of those you trust have convinced you to follow that they and their traditions are right and that those who believe in the Word of God are fools. God can open your eyes. You still have life. Reach out to him and He will come close to you. And yes, you to can become a Jewish believer like your forefathers. He is waiting.

@user-re6gg9kx1x your preaching to the Choir Schmuley, I was a deceived Christian zionist for many years but I have come to understand the manifest error and unmitigated evil of zionism and the modern fascist colonial state of faux "israel". There is no biblical or theological significance of this fake entity and because of the supremacy of the New Covenant over your redundant and suprseded old covenant (read the book of Hebrews), there is nothing "special" about being jewish, and sure as hell nothing to boast about

During the Tribulation (the time of God's wrath being poured on the earth on all unbelievers), which is also called "Jacob's Trouble", two thirds of the Jews will be killed by the Antichrist. Yes! God bless Jesus because He is the true Israel and every Jesus believing jew and gentile are the Israel of God in Him. Israel of flesh is called to became TRUE Israel through the belief of Jesus Christ! Jews are called and they can come back to be Israel but they are not Israel right now. This is what the Bible teaches us. Every Israel prophecy in the old testament points to Christ and to get to the promised land, beloved city (New Jerusalem) and to the temple of God is through baptism in Him. This is the second exodus of His people Israel: repentance and remission of sins, water baptism and receiving the Holy Spirit.
They who teach that modern state of Israel is the Israel which fulfills the prophecies of the old testament are REPLACING our Lord Jesus Christ with unbelieving jews and the modern political state of Israel. This is called political Zionism which is against the true Zionism of the Bible which preaches the Gospel and the salvation of the jews and gentiles in our Lord Jesus Christ!
P.S. I love jewish people and my family is also half jewish and I wish that every jew come to Christ but this lie that modern state of Israel is fulfilling the prophecies needs to stop.

The irony of this statement is that ppl who already believe they are born again DON'T understand God's word. Christ plainly told Nicodemus that someone who is born again CANNOT naturally be seen by the human eye. If you can naturally be seen by human beings, you are NOT born again! Rom. 1:3-4 teaches that as of right now, Christ is the only human being that has been born again. He is a Spirit. You are not.

JESUS DID NOT SAY THAT WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN TO BE SAVED BUT THAT WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
      COLOSSIANS 1
17 AND HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, AND IN HIM ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER.
18 AND HE IS THE HEAD OF THE BODY, THE CHURCH. HE IS THE BEGINNING, THE FIRSTBORN FROM THE DEAD, THAT IN EVERYTHING HE MIGHT BE PREEMINENT.
19 FOR IN HIM ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD WAS PLEASED TO DWELL,
      HEBREWS 12
23 AND TO THE ASSEMBLY OF THE FIRSTBORN WHO ARE ENROLLED IN HEAVEN, AND TO GOD, THE JUDGE OF ALL, AND TO THE SPIRITS OF THE RIGHTEOUS MADE PERFECT, [BORN AGAIN].
      REVELATION 1
5 AND FROM JESUS CHRIST, THE FAITHFUL WITNESS, THE FIRSTBORN FROM THE DEAD, AND THE RULER OVER THE KINGS OF THE EARTH.
EPHESIANS 2 8 FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH. AND THIS IS NOT YOUR OWN DOING, “IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD”, 9 NOT A RESULT OF WORKS, SO THAT NO ONE MAY BOAST.
      WHEN WE CONFESS UNCONSTRAINEDLY OUR SINS AND HAVE A CONTRITE HEART, WE ARE THEN BEGOTTEN - CONCEIVED - AGAIN = A SPIRITUAL CONCEPTION, OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, IN A NEW WINESKIN WHERE WE ARE NURTURED AND REGENERATED UNTIL WE HAVE OVERCOME THE FLESHLY EGO FOR IT IS ONLY THEN, THAT WE ARE BORN AGAIN INTO A NEW SPIRITUAL BODY, YES! BORN AGAIN FROM THE DEAD AND JESUS WAS THE FIRST TO BE BORN AGAIN FROM THE DEAD. {PLEASE NOTE; JEUS WAS THE FIRST TO BE BORN AGAIN OF THE DEAD MEANING, THAT HIS DISCIPLES WERE TO FOLLOW SUIT AFTER THEIR MARTYRDOM.}
      1 CORINTHIANS 15
20 “BUT NOW IS CHRIST RISEN FROM THE DEAD, AND BECOME THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THEM THAT SLEPT.”
      NUMBERS 11
12 DID I CONCEIVE ALL THIS PEOPLE? - DID I GIVE THEM BIRTH THAT YOU SHOULD SAY TO ME, ‘CARRY THEM IN YOUR BOSOM, AS A NURSE CARRIES A NURSING CHILD,’ TO THE LAND THAT YOU SWORE TO GIVE THEIR FATHERS?
[INDEED, WE MUST BE CONCEIVED - BEGOTTEN AGAIN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NURSED AS A CHILD UNTIL WE OVERCOME AND ARE BORN AGAIN INTO A NEW UNTARNISHED SPIRITUAL BODY FOR SPIRIT IS SPIRIT AND FLESH IS FLESH AS JESUS DID SAY AND ALSO PAUL STATED FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.]
1 CORNINTHIANS >>>50 NOW THIS I SAY BRETHREN, THAT ** FLESH AND BLOOD** CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD
** NEITHER DOES INCORRUPTIOIN INHERIT INCORRUPTION
SO WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN - WHEN OUR NEW WINESKIN IS CHANGED IN A TWINKLING OF AN EYE INTO A PURE SPIRITUAL BODY.
      1 CORINTHIANS 15
43 IT IS SOWN IN DISHONOUR, IT IS *RAISED IN GLORY, IT IS SOWN IN WEAKNESS, IT IS *RAISED IN POWER. [*BORN AGAIN OF THE SPIRIT FROM ABOVE] 42 SO IT IS WRITTEN, THE FIRST MAN WAS MADE A LIVING SOUL; ***THE LAST MAN WAS MADE A QUICKENING SPIRIT.

As my dad said one day, pastors who believe and teach that God is done with Israel aren’t shepherds but just “theologians”, people who study God just to study, not to love Him through knowing His heart. And the heart of God for Israel is all over the Bible, "At that time,” declares the Lord, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.” Thus says the Lord, “The people who survived the sword Found grace in the wilderness - Israel, when it went to find its rest." The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” (Jeremiah 31:1-3) is one of them. His love for Israel is EVERLASTING.
Moreover, all over the first testament, from the mouth of the prophets, God calls Israel his firstborn. If there’s a firstborn, logically, that means a second child will follow, that's us the Gentiles. And last, those who believe in replacement theology, who think God has replaced Israel, have NO guarantee that God would not do the same to them. It’s not as if they're going to apply the promises for Israel to themselves and completely ignore the warnings, it doesn’t work like that. 🤷🏾‍♀

Who teaches literal “Replacement theology”? This term gets bandied about and is misused.
With the Roman Catholic Church for 1000 years believing it was particularly imperative to convert Jews, they clearly do not believe in replacement theology. Their current catechism would support this. They believe the onus was on them to help fulfill Paul’s prediction in Romans 11.
Martin Luther too aggressively proselytized to the Jews in his region.
Genuine replacement theory does exist, based on a misinterpretation of Romans 9:25, but too often it is used to mean “not a dispensationalist”

He embodied what Israel as a nation could not do- he was the perfect obedient Israelite, and he ultimately became what all humans could never accomplish without him, he was the perfect sinless human- he redeemed the 'image' that was lost in the fall and by faith in him ALL can be redeemed Jew and Gentile. I am an Asian who believed in Jesus, when I accepted Jesus as my saviour I started reading the bible and I was so moved by the Love of God and without church teaching me, i know in my heart that Jesus said gentile believers are being grafted into the faith, this faith came from Israel whom God birthed and called Abraham out of his own land into a promised land, his faith followed God and through his faith response to God salvation extended eventually to all gentiles. How could one not give thanks to God for the nation of Israel, without them there would not be us being included in this salvation. Although Israel may have stumbled but their lessons taught us churches worldwide to humble before God and work out our salvation in fear and trembling and never to forget to pray for Israel to fully come into God's promise that Jesus the Messiah is the way, the truth the life to The Father God himself! I was kind of taken aback that my church seemed quite silent about Israel, maybe people are praying privately at home for Israel, but i consider my faith is like a family with Israel, now that Israel was attacked unprovoked such atrocity done to the Jews are wrong and I need to pray because the current war is never easy for both Israel and Gaza, only God truly know how deep the Gazans have been deceived into cooperating with Hamas agenda. The price is big for both people and many hearts are broken.

Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24.
In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews.
Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5.
Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost.
Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24.
Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church.
I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following.
"And then all Israel will be saved..."
I have heard another say the following.
"And all Israel will be saved..."
What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say?
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse.
How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future?
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith.
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews.

That's not true, and here's why. Those prophecies concern _Israel and Judah_ being brought back to that land. As of right now, only Judah is there. It is obvious that those prophecies are to be fulfilled after the Tribulation and not before. God said He would scatter them into national slavery, but that hasn't happened yet. Interpretations like this just reinforce the fact that evangelicals don't understand bible prophecy, and they don't know who Israel is.

I Praise God for your ministry! I have been at churches that believed in "replacement theology" and I believed it but couldn't reconcile different passages that are often ignored or misinterpreted. I agree it is dangerous because not only is the Scripture being interpreted through a worldview opposite of what the Bible teaches, but it also can create this hidden animosity for Jewish people if your not careful. The more I study the Bible and particularly the prophets the more I see what importance Israel plays in history and the future. The church started with Israel and will end with Israel and blessed be our God who grafted the believers of the nations into the promise and inheritance.
" The church is the body of Christ made up of Jew and Gentile believers. "
Eph 4 Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Thank you for discussing this topic - it needs to be addressed and every Christian, who has the Spirit and the Word of God, knows, that what you are saying is true. I was furious about the antisemitism and the deception of the church, until God showed me, that this is somehow a question of jealousy between siblings - who is more loved and more special. Then our gracious Lord helped me to forgive the deceived Christians (and the proud Jews 😀) and to pray for the truth and the love of the Father to unite us in Himself. ❤️ God bless Israel!

Allegations of anti semitism against the Catholic and Lutheran churches come from them proselytizing to Jews (I often wonder when it will be leveled against OneIsrael ministry). The Catholic and Lutheran churches were called anti-semitic for working to fulfill Paul’s prophecy in Romans 11.
I suppose some Calvinists do teach literal replacement theology, but you should be careful bandying around that term

My father believed in dispensationalism and the ultimate salvation of all. When I read the Bible, this is what I see. Dispensationalist is the belief that God’s promises to Israel are fulfilled outside of them having faith in Christ.
Under a strict dispensationalist view, Jews would be both obedient to God and saved without an ounce of faith in Christ.

    • @petercopco5233

True dispensationalism is the belief that Jews are saved and God’s promises are fulfilled to them outside of Christ.
Every denomination outside of the charismatics explicitly rejects this doctrine.
If you support the mission of helping Jews find Christ, you’re not a dispensationalist.

Dispensationalism is an extreme to Replacement theology, it is not better. They are both flawed frameworks that have to twist the scripture to make it fit the system. We are supposed to let the text speak for itself not twist it to fit our desired system.

As a Christian I fully support Israel and believe God has not set aside Israel permanently. Replacement theology is heresy. God is not finished with ethnic national Israel, a final remnant will ne saved because God's promises to them can never be taken away. How do I know? By a serious study of the Abrahamic, Mosaic, and Davidic covenants. Also Ezekiel, Isaiah, Zechariah Amos, Joel, .Matthew, and Romans chapter 10,11 specifically.
The church has become arrogant in thinking Its all about us when they fail to realize we gentiles were only saved because as Paul said In Romans to make Israel jealous. We are the wild branches not the natural branches. And If God could promise Israel an eternal covenant and then break that promise, we should be frightened because God may not keep His promise of salvation to us.

God loves me more than a jew or anyone else for that matter. They view themselves to be that more "worthy" than a jew.. more "deserving".
There are few things I find more disgusting or disturbing than 'replacement theology' within the body of Yeshua. And until the church is given our glorified bodies it will manifest like a malignant cancer. I think the pulpit must shoulder much of the blame.

It is especially concerning that since the brutal/unspeakable attacks on Israel of Oct 7, many online pastors are not humbly re-examining the Scriptures..but going out of their way to denounce Israel afresh. It is so sad..so disheartening. They lie to their hearers.

  • @ericsmith7287

As a gentile Christian I do not believe in replacement theology, but at the same time I don't know that there is some sort of focus on Israel or today. There is a difference between Israelites and Israelis, not that it I think or even know if that matters here. Paul definitely argues that God was God of the entire world even before Sinai. The story supports that, as it supports that YHWH chose a nation unto himself and called it his first son, Israel. The prophets, especially Isaiah, foretell the ingathering of the gentiles to their original place as part of the family of YHWH, through his Messiah. My point is that sometimes I listen to Messianic as if they are still holding on to their Jewishness as some sort of privilege and not so much as the vehicle through which God has worked his plan for everyone and not just Israel. Please don't take me wrong on that, it just seems that sometimes pride overtakes the message.

@@theeternalsbeliever1779 WHAT???? have you ever read who GOD calls True Israel - and False Israel?? Romans 9:6-8 Amplified Bible 6 However, it is not as though God’s word has failed [coming to nothing]. For not all who are descended from Israel (Jacob) are [the true] Israel; 7 and they are not all the children of Abraham because they are his descendants [by blood], but [the promise was]: “Your descendants will be named through Isaac” [though Abraham had other sons]. 8 That is, it is not the children of the body [Abraham’s natural descendants] who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are counted as [Abraham’s true] descendants. There is a CLEAR dichotomy between the "SEED" ie: JESUS as Abraham's SEED and the Israel that calls itself by that name - through their belief that they are Abrahams by blood???? Its Patently clear!

In Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants, God promised to bless all families in the world. Jesus is totally God and man (Jew), the messiah, and God does not change, the blessing given by God to the Jewish people will never be withdrawn but rather The Jewish people will be brought back to God, will wake up to bring the promised blessing. With all love for God we wait for Israel to cry out: Blessed is he who comes in the name of God.

Pastor John MacArthur has a series of sermons which are outstanding for this matter, sadly many reformed traditions inherited the antijudaizing sentiment from the catholic church and could not distance themselves from it. The series is in TH-cam as why every calvinist should be a premillenial. I'll look for the link to share it.

    • @petervanzyl518

You accuse??? the Reformed believers of "inheriting" an antijudaizing sentiment" ONLY because they are NOT DISPENSATIONALISTS ie: dont believe that GOD had or has?? 2 different plans for Salvation? eg- 1 plan for the Jews?? and another plan for the eklesia= 2 different plans for Salvation? GOD has always had ONE Plan for His People :ie: Salvation through the Blood of Christ for ALL who believe through the Sacrifice of His Son Jesus. Taking the eklesia in a pre trib rapture? whilst at the same time gathering the Jews in Israel where 2/3 of them will be "slaughtered?" during that time?is EXACTLY the heresy that dispensationalists believe!! Do you understand that??
