All great points. I simplify it by leaving the gear in my suv at all times. Shoes, accessories, chargers etc. that way when my senior mind fails me the gear is there. I always leave the lights and other plug in accessories always plugged into the many usb ports in the car so everything is fully charged.

Love this. Making it easier to ride = more riding!

100% agree with everything mentioned ... the only thing I would add is make sure you have a mirror. On a recumbent it is super awkward (for me) to look behind me. Great post!

Absolutely! A left mirror at minimum, but I like having both sides.

Believe it or not I have 10,000 on my Tour II and 30 months ago I bought a Tourismo E-Assist for me and a Rogue E-Assist for my lady friend and have put 10,000 on both mostly the Tourismo 9 k and have experienced tipping over and leg suck for sure . Your review of what to do when riding trike is on the mark ! Really enjoy your update on trikes as have watch all your videos . Also been riding for 12 year at 70 now 82 and have another 20,000 on other recumbent bikes mainly Ran LE and several Bacchetta SWB but I am all E-Assist Terra Trikes !

I had a car cut across my path the other day and got some wheel lift when I jammed on the brakes. But the they are awesome brakes. It beat eating the side of the car.

Another great tip: check your brakes frequently and service them regularly.

About lesson 1. I think trikes for high speed should be leaning trikes, so making a right turn automatically makes the seat lean righy.
Also, learn counter steering, turn left first to turn right, turn right first to turn left. Make the trike lean first then make the turn
