Whereabouts are you ? Looks really nice !! Got a little tip for you when getting meat out of the smaller parts of the Muddie, use the back end of a teaspoon but make sure it’s rounded but not too wide & you’ll waste nothing at all. 👍🏽

Hey, I'm ok. I had a bunch of things on this year so far, one after the other. The most recent was eye surgery, cataract removal from over exposure to sun and an injury. I hope to get out again soon.
You cast so accurately and effortlessly it makes me jealous. Then I remembered we have soft shell snapping turtles where I am and if you're not using heavier stuff even in the little creep you're going to lose almost every time I've had 2 lighter rods that was broken so I went to heavier leaders line and rods so I have to cast like I'm doing it out of the field. I want heavy stuff but smaller bait. I'm after small creek fish. But those **** turtles. Then you constantly got the bait thieves also known as little crawdads/ crayfish. I'm not great but I do ok. If I settle for smaller fish.
i know you like your artificial lures, and you clearly do well with them...but maybe as an idea for a video would be to go out and fish with live bait or cut baits for some different species. its always good to watch your videos and you can tell you're trying to keep things new and different each time, but it seems like we see the same 4 or 5 species of fish every video. im not saying that i'm not gunna watch these videos because i will lol, but i also think it would be cool to see you start teaching us different methods for some different species

i've been eagerly awaiting this. had my first go on the Barra a few weeks ago, landed my first on 10lb braid with 10lb leader. not sure exactly how big, i forgot to measure it in the excitement... i'm thinking somewhere between 60-70cm. also, you have a neck/face cover thingo, you can always make a bandana if you forget your hat again ;) love that hat tho
Hi Andy, it's good to see you back. I love a good feed of muddies. Do yourself a favour and get red of that gypsy windlass and get yourself a drum winch. I installed a LoneStar GX3 on my boat which is similar to yours. No more chain and rode bunching up underneath the winch and they are dead silent. Believe me, you will never look back. Also, if you haven't got one, look into a boat catch, launch and retrieval of the boat single handed couldn't be easier.

Anyone can get better at casting. Try casting on the grass with a casting plug.

All good points, I will use the winch until it fails. The boat catch doesn't seem necessary, as the trailer skids are sticky.
