I've got an AK4000 my self. Despite some other peoples poor reviews, with the latest firmware I've found it to be much better than my old Crane V2. Just know that if you ever decide to get the AFKII follow focus (don't get the cheep AFKI as it's super noisy and can't auto rack focus) there are two versions of it, and depending on which version of the gimbal one has they may have to contact Feiyutech and have them sent the newer front plate mounting bracket. They only charged me for shipping and it took roughly a month but makes a world of difference for manual rack focusing, and is significantly less expensive than any other follow focus system that would work with this.
Thanks for the comment Bill. I bought the gimbal as a kit and it came with the AFKI, so yeah I was disappointed that it was not the AFKII. I will be getting it though as I have many manual focus lenses and can see the benefit of the added rack focus. I am very happy with the AK2000 and it can even use a cellphone and auto track objects with the new firmware.
@@FOSS365 I tried the cellphone tracking with mine, and it slowly moved away from what I targeted. Perhaps my old Galaxy Note 4 isn't up to the task. It's either that or my ak4000 can't stand to look at my mug...

I hadn't thought about there being a reverse direction option, but now that you mention it that makes sense, Obviously a phones orientation chip could be mounted differently or report its rotation differently from phone to phone, but one would think that kind of thing would be automatic. Anyhow, where did you find that setting, because I don't recall seeing that option when I went through the app?
Great video! It cleared up the confusion for me regarding connectivity. How do I get the gimbal buttons to trigger video recording and still image shots though? Also, have you played with trying to get the gimbal to power the Camera?
You not fully balanced A6300, because it impossible on this device. Sorry for bad english. I mean, you not balanced 1 axis, first (closed to your hand). Try off gymbal, and go rotate him to horisont position, and rotate 1 firsst axis.

You're welcome. You might want to make sure you have the latest firmware on the AK2000 as it performs better.

@@billyoung9538 - I had the same problem until I went into settings and reversed the up and down directions. Still it's not perfect in all situations.
