As a Vietnamese, I'd say that shirt 3:24 costs no more than $3. I'm not judging at all, I respect your experience. If you stay in Vietnam for a long time, ask your Vietnamese friends for help first. I watched all of your vlogs in Vietnam and enjoyed it. You did a great job, keep it up!
I used google translate to comment 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed my videos🤎
@@esiriscorner i think it's 100k,
👍
Vlog was great, found it very useful. I would really love to see more vlogs, as I am in Viet now.
Really loved it. xo
Glad you found my video helpful ❤️
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
Sellers in Dong Xuan market are often less friendly, not only to foreign tourists but also to Vietnamese locals because they are mainly wholesale, not retail. Dong Xuan market is one of the biggest wholesale market in Hanoi, many wholesale products are only available to businesses and not sold to individuals. As a local, I had same experience when I got there to buy shoes some years ago.
It was very surprising but I didn’t take it personally, still enjoyed looking around the market.
They still sell to their local people that’s if they know them. Didn’t look like they were selling in bulk so why be wholesale? That’s bs.
Where we can buy similar product but for retail?
Are there similar market you would recommend to buy souvenirs or such which caters to Retail and not only wholesale?
Beautiful
Thank you 🙏🏾
I was thinking that it looked like an overwhelming experience right about the time that you said it was an overwhelming experience! It reminded me of one of the large markets that was below ground level in Seoul, South Korea. I was overwhelmed there as well.
I never went to the Seoul underground markets, but we had one in Gwangju where we lived but it was overwhelming at all.
😘😘😘😘😘
🙏🏾🤎
I'd need to lay down after all that going on in that market 🤣
That’s exactly what I did 😂😂😂😂
I’d need more than an hour in that fabric section 😂
Oh you’d love it for sure, so much options and ridiculous prices
where exactly this market is in Hanoi?pls share the complete address
Name of market is in the description box, it’s easy to find in google maps.
Hi, why do you think the vendor “shooed”you out of the store?💁🏾♀️ I am sorry that you had that experience. You are such a wonderful person! Carson is too!!😀
I honestly dunno why, it definitely wasn’t nice.
@@esiriscorner I was there also and the store sellers didn’t even let me look. They just said, “NO SALE!” and that was it. I walked out of their store. Didn’t even buy anything from the market because of that incident. I would have to say don’t go to Dong Xuan Market. Very unfriendly and hostile store owners. The guy that was selling souvenirs around the fountain was probably the nicest person there. Otherwise, this market gave me a bad after-taste of Hanoi.
Whether whole sale or not, they were still selling items to their own locals.
@@phajeb001 yea I agree with you on that, I did buy something from another seller though, but that first stall owner wasn’t very nice at all.
Hi esiri, I like to ask which is the best bank to use in hanoi for foreigners and is it easy to open a bank account there.
There is HSBC here, I would recommend that for foreigners.
@@esiriscorner thank you so much for your reply. I'm so mad yesterday. I saw an apartment and I love it, I wanna pay the deposit on the spot but they say they don't accept chinese and I'm from hongkong. how can they be so racist. I'm so upset about it
@@ntv3489 oh wow, I’m so sorry that happened to you.
China attacked Vietnam in 1979. I feel that might be why you didn't get the flat. Many people might still be holding it against them.
Just visited today, It's a super waste of time market, so can search for other places to go.
Why? I am going to Hanoi and plan to go shopping. Do you have any other shopping place to recommend?
This is market very danger don’t pay money in advance other wise you may pay twice in some shops and bargain well
Black GI. Why you come Hanoi? Hanoi NNZ Black GI.
Are you having a stroke?
Coward!
