So refreshing to see new and sensible cars that aren't spoiled by nonsense posh trims and crossover styling purely for profiteering.

As I get older it is harder to get in and out of the car. I appreciate the crossover styling because they are higher off the ground making getting in and out easier.

Just out of interest, MG have bought out a 10 year warranty bin Australia, is there any plan for that to be introduced in the UK?

      A good question

    • @Glugskiclumfum

Hope not, because the seven year warranty is unlimited mileage, whereas the Australian ten year one isn't.

I feel so sorry to hear that later model will have the split rear seat I feel betrayed because I bought this car right after the launch.😢

I think that's as biased as it gets in favor of the manual+slow swift

Would you know if the MG4’s random self emergency stop problem got transferred to MG3 H+ or have MG fixed this now..?

Still does my head in that the hybrid uses quite a bit more fuel at highway speeds than the non hybrid MG3 and that the hybrid uses 95 or higher octane fuel. If Toyota can make hybrids fuel efficient at city speeds and highway speeds while using 91 fuel, then surely MG can. The other false claim is the hybrid performance, where its maximum performance is very limited, especially obvious when driving on hills.

bcos this one have more HP than normal conventional hybrid.
that increase in HP is the cost in fuel consumption.

@lamebear6669 I am talking about mg 3 hybrid plus. It has adaptive cruise control, which can be activated when the speed is above 18 mph. That is all I have and not traffic jam assist.

They could easily put 10kw battery and plug to make it daily ev for Australia roads

Terrible to go back to hybrids. EV sales are not stalling...FUD.... see Fully Charged.. I see this as a win for big oil.

    • @johnathanpearson3203

Ev sales are down. I saw a car dealer give the numbers and it showed dealers pre-registering cars to avoid fines. Many EVs failed their MOTs for bad brakes and other reports that EV service centres charge more for labour and time for an EV. It's not cut and dry. Big Oil always wins. What do you think is used to make everything in the world including food.😮

Pre-registering cars is what bumps up numbers. I think EVs are a win for the rich because the taxes from the poor pay for the EV tax breaks.
