What if the tires pop? Does the movement from the tire tire explosion make the car fall off the cribs? The width and height of the cribs need to be calculated carefully to cover all the worse cases. A million of chance could get you. Be safe mates.
Nice video. I see you have 8 layers of wood block. Assume they are 2x4. Do you know if 5 layers will provide enough height to work under the car? Thanks.
I would personally stick with the height we have in the video. It can be a little tricky getting the car on and off of them though. They are regular store bought 2x4's. We had a bunch that we got in the warped wood section at home depot, so we used those.
Hell of a lot safer than jack stands.
If you are concerned about it rolling off the cribs, you could use a ratchet strap thru the cribs and around the tire f
Awesome, never thought of that. We appreciate it!
excellent idea

Cribs are better than harbor freight stands for safety if ya ask me lol
They seem to hold up just fine. Car has Been sitting on them for a year. Probably not very good for the tires over that length of time though.
Right on

NJR your shoe is untied!
Jk April Fools 😆
How are they holding up?
