I live in the same town as Jimmy J (our little nickname for him). He's one of the most, if not the most, sketchy people in this area. Here's a little list of the things he's done to screw over people or has raised red flags:
-Didn't pay contractors who did work on the Greenbrier Hotel, causing them to go out of business.
-Funneled almost $1 mil to a high school here for rewaxing their basketball court (he's coach to the Ladies Spartans)
-When he became gov. he had to step away from being the CEO of Greenbrier Corp., so he let his daughter be the CEO.
-His son, who has ZERO role at the Greenbrier Hotel, somehow manages to be the one who collects the "Historical Preservation Fund" from the hotel, which is an extra tax on services and sales at the Greenbrier, including the sale of real estate owned or developed by the hotel. This is probably where a lot of money is.
-His companies headquarters, for all 70+ of them, is located in Roanoke, VA in a 5 story building, but there's not any indication of how many people actually work there.

Ahhh..no worries about his billions of dollars of debt! Lucky for us all we live in a nation where he can legally absolve himself of all of it, compared to honest Americans who are mostly stuck with thousands of dollars worth of debt simply for pursuing a college education. This system that rewards wealthy failures but punishes poor and working class people is a joke!

Perhaps he has seen epa rules as those used to break businesses that aren't on board with the green new deal and he will do something to prevent the same issues for other coal or petroleum companies demonized by government departmental rules that aren't even laws?
