I usually go to an HMart for Tempe, Idk if any of those are close to you. But I hope that helps somewhat haha

It seems like they use lots of spices in cooking, i can see turmeric, galangal, lemon grass, chilli,shallot, garlic... That might give explosive flavor to the dish haha and it looks colorful as well

If you have another chance to visit Indonesia, I recommend you to visit Makassar, two and half hours flight from Jakarta to the east side. You can explore the authentic foods ( Coto Nusantara,, Pallu Basa Srigala, Sop Kondro Karebosi, Pangsit Mie, Pisang Ijo, Pisang Epe ) and drink; called Saraba. Here you can stay at Losari district.
Then you can have nine hours drive to the north side to visit Tana Toraja. They have traditional burial and good coffee. Place is in high ground and cooler than Makassar.
