Dude you need to stabilize that 3D printer, your whole room is shaking. Concrete tile + foam underneath, you'll thank me later.
Not sure if you have watched more since. But your chat was misrepresenting what happened in the AI part entirely in my opinion. You can probably just jump to like 2:37:00 to see it if you choose to watch more of this.
Another thing to note is that at near the start of this section Destiny explicitly says that he doesn’t see why his definition cannot be applied to the case of insurrection against a state he just isn’t comfortable arguing this cause he hasn’t looked into the legal history of such prosecutions…
1:24:03 I believe the criticism was about the misrepresentation.
So Destiny never hides his Wikipedia searches or he'll announce mid-debate let's check Wikipedia. The issue was robbed was portraying it as not AI. I don't think Destiny would have an issue if he had said according to this AI this is true.
The only ethical question is whether Rob intentionally lied about it being AI or not. Because he explicitly said this is not AI when it was.
Who the fuck CARES? Even in the WORST case scenario, Rob was embarrassed to admit to using AI for his research and he got "caught". Yeah, it's a cringey look, but who really cares? It seems like Destiny was so desperate to "win", that he completely discarded the substance of their debate and throttled him on what is AT WORST a harmless, if embarrassing, white lie. It would be one thing if Destiny jabbed him on that point and then returned to the substantial issue at hand, but, no, Destiny then forced a victory lap and exited the conversation.
And, no, I'm not a Rob stan. I have no horse in this race, and I think they're both wrong on the issue. But Destiny clowned himself here by his conduct alone, probably because he could tell he wasn't "winning" (and that's because he really is wrong).
Destiny did something similar on the Andrew Wilson debate, fixated on a small "issue" then declared bad faith
@@lowserver2…wha..? What did he do in the Andrew Wilson debate?
“I think they’re both wrong”
Rob was p much wrong about everything except maybe for when they were talking past each other about the robbery thing. The AI just highlighted how he’d mock destiny for supposedly not knowing something, and then lie about knowing something to him, and spend 20 minutes trying to weasel out of confessing.
A white lie is when for practically an entire hour you are completely dishonest about the substance of your understanding/argument and it’s credibility and refuse to take responsibility for it
You arent making me a poor when i donate to you. I donate to your channel because i think it has real long-term value. You are one of the voices id like to share a country with. Peace and love to all yal
Why should I trust that I am getting an honest take from Connir when he is being paid to help the Democratic campaign? He also has more to lose by criticizing Destiny than Rob.
Remember when you tried to justify using the gulf of Tonkin to lie the U.S. into the Vietnam war?
As a few others have said, the problem with the AI is that Rob wasn't upfront about it and lied or in the best case was mistaken about it when asked.
Your chat kept saying Destiny said there was no state insurrections - this is wrong. He repeatedly said he wasn't sure. He had not looked into if there were state insurrections, the only thing he had researched was federal.
I think it's fair to say Destiny should have given rob the time to talk about what he wanted to after 5+ hours of talking on Destiny's topic, but Robb really did not engage well on destiny's topic, wasn't willing to have a real conversation about it and kept heading him off on possible arguments rather than engaging in good faith when destiny said he could amend his statements if he needed to. Yeah, Destiny bitched out, but Rob also didn't come in the best faith to the talk.
"Yeah, Rob let Destiny talk for five hours, but he didn't like... engage well?"
Destiny rage quit after 10 minutes and *exactly* when Rob brought up a point I've been trying to get across for a while now. I've lost a *lot* of respect for him.
Also, excuse me, where did Robb fail to engage in good faith???
@@dfmrcv862 10 minutes? The fucking debate lasted for 5 hours, and Rob misrepresented his use of AI as him reading an actual human legal review. You clearly did not watch the actual debate between the two/clearly a bot.
@@dfmrcv862 I already agree with your point one, Destiny should have given Rob some space to explore the convo he wanted, or at least had him back on another time to do so (5 hours was already a slog).
To explain where Rob wasn't coming in good faith, the first part of the convo dragged for so long because Rob was doing a whole lot of motivated reasoning. He had a conclusion he wanted to arrive at and when a hypothetical was going in a way he didn't like, rather then engaging, amending, or working through it - He wanted to reject the hypothetical out of hand to avoid "losing points" in some future argument.
Destiny asked him over and over to treat it like a conversation where they are coming to an understanding of each other rather than a debate where they were trying to win points and Rob refused. This created so much tension and frustration the convo broke down.
Nobody honest buys Destiny's neutral truth seeker shtick. He is guilty of motivated reasoning and everything else he accuses the right of. After his Piers Morgan appearance, he lost whatever moral high ground he might have had too.
@@chaosmos24 why open with an attack like that? Do you think it makes your statement more convincing, or does it just feel good to demonize someone who doesn't agree?
This debate actually was TLSW (I actually watched it stupidly)
Connor carrying water for people who would put him and his family in a camp if they could. Shameful.
Emotional conservademon
Rob Noerr is very bad faith
How so?
@@dfmrcv862intentionally talks past, can’t ever give a clear answer, always tries to attack instead of just respond, chat gpt, sorry I can’t answer that one, chat gpt, chat gpt
@@dfmrcv862”I’m going based off colloquial” “I’m making this up and restructuring it amorphically as we go along”
@@PoorEdward both talked last each other at times. Be specific.
What examples of "can't give a clear answer" are you bringing up?
Be specific.
Does the left actually dehumanize the right for Jan 6?
Yes.
@@dfmrcv862 can i ask what common things are said or done to give that impression?
@@kedesco the labeling of all conservatives as traitors that "deserve what happened to the fireman" for starters.
@@dfmrcv862 i dont suppurt it, but if you still suppurt a guy that tried to cheat his way to presidency and literally overturn a democratic vote then yea no sympathy is in the rage of acceptable sentiments
@@dfmrcv862traitors are still human, people who deserve what's coming to them are still human, that firefighter is still human despite what happened.
None of that is "dehumanising". It just comes off like you don't know what the word means.
