There is no more debate on this. Brute strength, static lifts, functional strength, athleticism and overall well roundness, or any of the criteria or combination you take, peak Thor is the Strongest Man of all-time.
2018 Thor was something else on the planet, no weakness and consistently a threat. With his overall 5 wins back in 2018, he was a static monster. If his health could be on par with his great performance, I believe he would still competing big time from the last 3 years after his big 2020's deadlift. Thor's 2019 Europe's Strongest Man was his comfortable win, just need to win 1 event and keep consistent on the top 3 for the rest of the comp. Just to prove once again Giants Live was his nice "playground"
@@santiagosteven6105 He was statically the strongest as well. The more we watch Thor, the more we miss him. I'm closely following Thor's recovery from his socials and praying he will be back, stronger than ever! His surgeon really did a fantastic job. If we can set aside the animosity and have Thor back, it will be the best for the sport. A lot of people left the sport once he retired and as you rightly said, Thor in his prime is the Strongest Man to have EVER lived! It was such an electrifying experience (specially for an iron addict) to see him live. The sport has never been the same despite so many new faces and marketing wizardry from all the strongman bodies combined. Colin, Darren, why don't you fly to Iceland and meet him? Thor is a kind person and in my opinion, you should take the initiative on this.

How humbling for Luke and Tom stoltman. Thor slipped over in the anchor, and still beat them.
