There's an article on the site saying it is "not just Ken and Barbie dolls". Reallly? Where are the bears, chubs or mature men? Looking at the contestents it is just Ken dolls. This just reinforces the prejudices of the scene sadly.

Based on the first few moments before the focus shifted to one couple, sadly I see this perpetuating classic stereotypes of gay men. Swishy, high voiced, outlandish attire etc. I don't see this advancing acceptance of the LGBTQIA community at all. Likely it will add to the disenfranchisement in society we already face and is increasing in the USA.

You don't see this first British gay dating show in the sea of straight dating shows that are filled with stereotypical spray tanned white teeth, superficial 20 something year old straight people as an advancement for LGBTQ+ people??? How strange. Absolutely it is, this and For The Love of DILFS are a start for gay dating shows and will hopefully open the door for other LGBTQ+ dating shows.

Seriously random strangers kissing 😽 somebody they hardly knew, how do know this isn’t a psycho who would stalk you all the way home? Well at least the two young men who kissed each other seemed ok with it otherwise they wouldn’t be on this show but they would likely feel very awkward kissing a complete stranger.
