Thanks for this video! I removed the arms and cut the studs of the ball joint off with an angle grinder. That only took about five minutes per arm and wasn’t that bad. Then I went to a shop with a 60 ton press and they pressed the sleeve off.
Tip: on reassembly, put the sleeve into the knuckle first. Do NOT put the sleeve on the ball joint stud first as it’s too tricky to guide in there. Took me 10 minutes to finally get it in. On the other side, the sleeve went in the knuckle first very easily. Then the ball joint went in smoothly.

Excellent video. This control arm is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever seen from Honda. Aluminum arm plus weak hydraulic bushing and that godawful sleeve on the ball joint. When I did this job I used two pickle forks under the sleeve and hammered them from opposite sides, it worked, the sleeve went flying across my garage.

This happend to me today. The dealership said that piece is supposed to be pressed into the knuckle. If it comes out of the knuckle they want 1000 for a knuckle...bad design imo. Great video sir!

Sorry don't have a part number , call the call they might be able to help you . What happened to the old spindle , you can pull it from the old one and move it to the new one .

Rusted on. Had to cut the lca off just to get it off the car. Dealer has no idea what part it is. It's not readily available. Smh

excuse me for the question, I have a 2007 mdx, I need to change the ball joints, can I just change the ball joints? Or do I have to change the entire lower arm? Thanks for your answer and for your videos.
