Actually, if Dom hadn't Inv Brian to that house party, Brian wouldn't have an inside view of what type of person Dom is, and he would have never met Mia and he would most likely never let Dom go. Brian would probably still be a cop n be on Hobbs team. Dom still has ppl to get him out probably. But throughout the franchise, Dom and Brian would have been in the opposite side.

Well, there's the real world....then there is the Fast & Furious world where logic & physics & reasoning are thrown out the window completely. Heck, if Letty & Han were killed & brought back to life, then chances are Vince & others may be resurrected for the final film

For me, Vince was a favorite character to come back. He had always been loyal to Dom, they were friends (and even brothers), good or bad, after all. Despite his dislike for Brian, he was willing to accept him in this part, mainly because of Mia, whom he himself saved from Reyes' people, gaining his friendship and respect in the process, and Dom's lost trust. At the time of his death, he was even determined enough to ask him to meet his son. When I saw this scene, I felt genuinely sad. Therefore, the 5th part is very emotional.
In my opinion, it shouldn't kill such a well-written character. Not that I'm putting it over Brian.

Yes it was a good idea that the character did come back for him. But what I really hated about Vince is how he keeps blaming everything on Brian. Brian saved them all. They decided to execute a poorly-planned heist. If it was not for Brian, Vince would have died in that truck

Similar to how Brian kept Dom out of handcuffs, he kept Vince out of coffins, which is why Vince is fine with him despite their past.
@ 5:20 I feel like before Paul died, they might have thought about the possibility of having Brian and Sean to meet in Tokyo, so this was kind of foreshadowing to that.

Back when the movies were actually about cars. Good times.
This was not about cars at all. It was about a heist. Every racing scene in the movie is skipped or never showed. The blue Porsche winning or the end where Brian and Dom "race". The only race showed is drag with cop cars where Dom lets Brian win. Its a heist movie not car movie. The last car movie was Tokyo Drift. 4th one was a weak movie so I choose not to comment

@@TheAlan501 the cops knew everything about Dom and his crew. Brian being undercover didnt tell them anything the cops already knew. Dom and his crew were bound to get caught. That had nothing to do with Brian being a cop
@@ElTeeger they literally needed confirmation and only had a hunch that Doms crew had anything to do with it, they 100% had no clue who it was robbing those trucks, them wanting to go after Dom purely on speculation isn't knowing everything, why do you think they sent Brian in undercover? They literally went after Johnny Tran cause of Brian's misleading info, his attachment to the crew is what stopped the cops from going after them, but after it was made obvious that it was Dom doing the jackings cause of Vince getting injured, the cops went after him and his crew, all because Brian got involved. It's literally the whole point of the movie. My point was yes he saved his life, but he also ruined it, broke up his crew and stole the woman he loved. In Vinces eyes Brian was a traitor, which he was.

To me it just seems like you're nitpicking and not even reading what I said, in Vinces eyes, finding out Brian was undercover the whole time was why he doesn't trust him, he holds Brian responsiblefor everything. That's the whole point of my comment. Anyways, Brian was then let go for interfering with the investigation and letting Dom escape, Brian kind of knew it was Dom, but chose to get proof on Tran and the other racing crews, basically its thanks to his misleading that they raided Tran, and in a way that whole situation led to Jessie being killed in the drive by, a combo of him driving off with the car and Tran thinking they snitched on him. When in reality it was Brian, he was the center piece to everything that happened. Without and real conformation, aka without Brian getting into the crew and into the racing scene, the cops would've never had enough information to raid anyone, it's why they needed him undercover, it's not hard to understand.

It's a little awkward when Mia knows brazilian portuguese better than Vince's wife, since she is american in the story (and I know Jordana use to live in Brazil back in her childhood. I'm focusing the story). As a brazilian it makes me a little angry they hired spanish speakers to play roles in this movie, since we have so many good actor that can also speak english. Hernan, however, has a really good br-pt accent.
Yeah unfortunately Hollywood is stupid in that they don't use the right people for the job they just use them for their looks or whatever.

The part where Vince and his wife are staring at Brian and Mia just hoovering down food is such a good detail. These guys have been on the run and probably havent had a chance to slow down.

Kinda insane it's been nearly 12 years since Hobbs got introduced in the franchise, and frankly, also a little disappointing that he couldn't be in the movies more because of whatever issues Deisel and Johnson had with each other. Fast five was the probably the most bland in terms of the cars it had. Then again, they were all on the run and were broke, so I guess that makes sense.
